cheap easy to make pipe

I had an idea the other day to make an awesome smoking device that is a resinator pipe (that smokes slightly differently to a normal pipe) and a bong downtube with a resinator.

You will need:
a length of 1cm diameter metal pipe (i used brass pipe from the local model shop. The same stuff would probly be in a DIY shop)

2 small pipe screens

a pair of pliers

a jnr hacksaw

a drill

some silicone sealant

1.Cut a length of pipe to be the tube that you will use for your pipe tube.
2.Cut a smaller length of pipe slightly bigger than your desired bowl size.
3.Drill a hole in one end of this tube, this is where the bowl will fit. A drill press would be extremely usefull here if you have access to one i spent about half an hour struggling with a hand drill.
4.Cut a wedge out of your piece of tube you will use for the bowl and use the pliers to make it into a cone shape.
5.Check that the bowl will fit your hole and place a pipe screen in it.
6.Push one of your screens up into the pipe this will hold the material you wish to resinate.
7.Finally attach the bowl using some silicone sealant or similar.

How to smoke with your new pipe

This pipe is slightly different to a normal pipe. You load the bowl in the same way and place the material you wish to resinate in the tube but you will notice that there is a hole in each end of the pipe the one nearest the bowl can be used as a carb.

To use as a bong downtube push the screen from the bowl into the tube near the top and insert the other end into a bong and toke away.

Smoking out of anything brass or other soft metal's like that is bad new's. Because they have a low heating point they will start to let off fumes when under the heat of a lighter. When you inhale those fumes they stay in your body and can cause brain, heart and other damage. Just an FYI. Peace

Sounds cool, except I only smoke out of glass (I actually care about my health). Homeade peices are so ghetto...:p

thanks for the advice i didn't no about the brass being bad for your health i thought that was just alluminium. ill have 2 rethink that bowl then. anyone have any suggestions? thanks

i would rather use a well made 2 liter gravity bong then a 2 or 3 foot bong because of how much weed you save and how big the hits are. it simply doesent make sense to use anything else once you've used a gravity. the only reason you would ever smoke out of anything else would be for simple convinience or for health reasons. because gravitys do need a lower bucket of water reducing their portability, and there are also many health risks associated with tin foil, plastic bottles and high heat smoke. if you arent worried about that. GRAVITY BONGS are the way to go. its what i smoke out of. EVERYDAY
