whats the average amount of plants you grow with a

1. 400 watt light

2. 600 watt light


i woudl say about 5 plants for a 400 watt light but you tell me... also with 5 plants how much bud yield could i expect? about 350-400 grams per plant?

Last grow I started with 10 and 5 were females. Right now I have 8 going, but not sure how many females. 400W setup. The less plants you put under the light, the bigger the plants will get. Another words, alot of plants will equal smaller plants. If you use one or two plants only, they will get much bigger cause they absorb more light without sharing it with all the other plants.

Usual calculation is 0,5-1g per Watt, no matter if you grow 2 or 10 (SOG). To get 350 from one plant, you would need to Scrog, plus have excellent genetics and the perfect environment - so don't aim for that.

what kind of light are we talking about here???
If u get the plants under 400w of fluoros im pretty sure that u wont yield as much as under a 400w HID (given the same circunstances)...
