hi av been germanateing sum hindu kush seeds for about 3 days now useing the papertowl methord and they still havent cracked how long should i wait untill i no that there useless and what is the average time seeds normaly take to crack

They should have cracked by now. I'd say get some potting soil, water it really well, and put the seeds just under the surface and let them germinate there, just to be on the safe side. Don't let them get cold and keep the soil nice and moist. They may be old seeds so may take longer to germinate. You could also keep them on the wet paper towel and just put them in a warm place, if they aren't already, but don't let them get hot, just warm, like on the TV or just in a warm room.

Well Kris,

Some people like to use a glass of distilled water and 48 hours of smoking herb. Try some bagseeds if you don't want to risk the $$seeds.

I would definitly go with soaking the seeds in water for 48 hours and then go directly to soil. Trust me...it works. I tried the papertowel method and didn't have very good luck. With this method I had sprouts within 3 days of putting them in soil. Good Luck!

Dont worry about them not cracking just yet, as some seeds take longer than others to crack. Mine took nearly 2 weeks and now look at them.
