vaporizers are sic. I've used a vap brothers and the volcano. How to get the most...you smoke it till it's done. Clean hits and wonderful taste are the results.

i have a volcano....its the only way to vaporize. like the last guy said its atotally different hit . its a real head buzz.
when u smoke weed in a joint or in a bong u can burn off up and over 90% of the active ingredients i.e THC. ( this means u only get at worst less than 10 % of the THC). with a vaporizer u get upto 98% of the THC making the hit 4 or 5 times stronger and purer.

here's a little info on the volcano
The VOLCANO System Vaporizer releases flavors and active ingredients from herbs through vaporization by hot air.
Optimum treatment of the active ingredients reduces the development of harmful substances and odours to a minimum. This means that even non-smokers find the vaporizer enjoyable.

A further advantage of the VOLCANO is the exploitation of active ingredients, being 3-4 times greater when compared with smoking, an aspect which makes the investment in the device pay for itself in the shortest time possible.

The unique patented VOLCANO System technology conveys air enriched with flavors and active ingredients into a balloon through a valve. The generated vapors will be completely collected in the balloon. After the filling the valve balloon it can be completely detached and separated from the device. The content may be inhaled at ease, independently from the vaporization process both comfortably and safely.

The VOLCANO has already gained a reputation among experts as the most technically advanced and professional vaporizer available.
The accurate air temperature control sets new standards for vaporizers in precision and reliability. Stringent selection of material, impeccable processing and practical in its form, the VOLCANO combines simplicity of use, a high degree of safety and particularly good efficiency.

Reliable technology:
"Designed and made in Germany" for the highest-grade quality and a long life.

ive got two of em ones a blue meanie the other is a vapourease the blue meanie is a bit shit it chaars the green too much but the other is sick works perfectly you should get one that uses a heat element to heat the air that passes through the green or one with a temp control
dont get one that uses a heat elemt that has direct contact with the green as it burns it too much

Yeah well i know smeone that just got the vapzilla which has a digital tmp gauge on it and it is sick, the only think that i noticed and i don't really know how you could change this without knowing the temp to begin with is not burnign the plant material to eliminate the carcenogenic materials. This is one reason of why i would def use one over smoking cause there's less side effect i would say long term. with vaporizers like the volcano and blue something how do you guys know you're not burnign this material? The high is def pretty nice and there isn't that nasty burnt taste in the back of your throat after it's a real clean wonder

vaporizers only extract about 45% of the THC, according to an article I was shown ... I didn't believe that at first, but it explained something that had been puzzling me, that smoking the leftover 'fluff' from my vaporizer, got me just as high as the vaporized original herb ... before you flip out over my statement, try smoking the 'fluff', and explain to me where the THC came from ... :D

the volcano doesn't heat up enuff to burn the weed . just enuff to release the thc. and as thc is mostly water anyway it vaporizes 1st leaving the nasty stuff locked in the plant matter.
this is a post i made on ly volcano a few monthes ago

Hal, dear, you need to take a Chemistry class! THC is not mostly water. Heck, THC can't even disolve in water! (This is why pot tea won't get you very high.) But back to the topic of vaporizers, I love mine. I've had it for about 2 months. I got a little Vapor Brothers GNES Hands-free model. I use 1/2 the pot (it will pay for itself in no time), MY LUNGS ARE CLEAR!!!, the brownies from the duff are kick-ass, and kids, there is virtually NO smell! I picked mine up from discountworldonline.com for under $140 with about $14 for S&H. I got good service- a receipt and a shipping notice the next day,and their service was prompt. (They must love me by now for all the free advertising. LOL) Really, kids, I've been using cannabis for 40 years, and getting the VB was one of the best things I've done for myself ( getting my medical recommendation was #1, but this isn't far behind!) Right now about half of you are out of pot- the normal late summer drought- if you bought at the same level as you do now, but used a vaporizer, you'd likely have a nice stash to tide you over. I do! Health, stealth and wealth- all with a vaporizer. Granny has spoken! ;)

I highly recommend them.

the name thc stands for what exactly ........Tetra-hydro-cannabinol. now am i mistaken or does hydro not mean water. as most of the planet is made from water including 80% of ourselves why can't thc contain water. anyway i didn't realise i need a chemistry lesson . but that thx anyway.

Thanks dude, my Vapir works but I do want to get one of those. After I sell my house and we move I will pick one us for sure.

I know how good my Vapir is so I can only assume how much better they are. As in terms of heavy duity use anyway.

i made my own vaporizer, i call it the "bread-o-rizer" primarily because i constructed it using a 6" tube lightbulb, a water balloon faucet adapter, a rubber band and..... a bread bag.

Grannie your truth serum rocks the forum! THC is not water, as you say (sorry for going off-topic people). wikipedia mentions this about THC"

"THC has a very low solubility in water, but a good solubility in most organic solvents such as ethanol or hexane."

Rock on Stormie-G!

I use the volcano daily, and it's pretty bulletproof. I've stepped on it, some tool hit the side of it and dented it...

It rocks. I don't cough all the time anymore. I don't stink of smoke.

Best part is that it's a different feeling for me, I don't need the heady high I need the body high for disc pain relief, and vaporizing seems to give me that whereas smoking seems to make me really high but not provide the pain relief I am looking for.

I pretty much demolish the plant product in there so I haven't found much use for the duff (food doesn't work for me, I've tried cooking with it) but with the volcano (and any other vaporizer) you can just keep reusing the duff too if you get to that point.

In fact, relating to that last point, I'm interested in one of the other bag style vaporizers that have a control for the fan speed, as if you could slow down the airflow initially through the duff, it would heat up more and release more active ingredients rather than half the bag being just warm air...

I will say that my volcano did break, the thermostat freaked out and would only make vapor at the #9 setting (and why really doesn't this thing go to 11) and I sent it to the repair facility in CA and they fixed it the day it got there and had it back out the door that afternoon. I was impressed.

Being able to get your machine fixed when it's broken is worth the extra money in initial cost in my book.
