right i little while ago i saw a thread on here where someone said that unless you have hps lights its pointless givin the plants co2 as if your using say envirolights like me the plants dont have enough light to photosynthesis
i do believe this isnt true
plants need light to photosynthesis this process is basically the plant breathing it takes in co2 converts it to energy and gives out oxygen
just like we take in oxygen an give out co2
plants have to photosynthesis in order to grow
do we ever jus stop breathin??...
....only when we die. same as plants they photosynthesis until they die
its the green chlorophyll in the plant that makes it photosynthesis if it didnt it wouldnt be green
anythin plant like thats green photosynthesis as long as there is light doesnt matter what sort of light as long it lets the plant grow
:p

basically if they dont photosynthesis they dont breath so like any other living thing they will die
this is one of the reasons why you need to have good air circulation especially if you got loadsa plants in a small place as they will suffocate in the oxygen that they give out

if any one thinks i am wrong and can prove it let me know
im gonna introduce some co2 to my plants soon

i do not agree you will only use so much of the C02 as there is not enought light for the plant to use up all the C02

Only 14% of our atmosphere is Oxygen. The rest is CO2 and Nitrogen.

You do NOT need to give plants CO2 under flouros because LIGHT is the limiting factor.

So ventilate your growroom and you will have planty of CO2 to go around.
