so after all your helpful advices on pieces, I bought a box vapo and got myself some zigzag papers.
bong will come much later since it's hard to hide, but I will probably get a bubbler once I get more money.
I did read the how-to-roll-joint thread and watched some videos on youtube and tried my first joint today.
Let me say that it was horrible... but it was good enough to get me high.

Help me find where I went wrong.
Is it ok to use just 1 paper?
is the rolled cardboard for the mouthpiece necessary?
when I light the paper, the paper burns too fast and it doesn't stay lit.
about half of the weed was dropped to the ashtray and I just put it in my corn-cob pipe and smoked the rest.
Do I really need tobacco with weed? or can I just use weed.

1. yes it is ok to use only 1 paper.
2. a mouthpiece isn't necessary but is convenient
3. I'm still not quite sure why a joint doesn't stay lit, i believe it has something to do with air flow or not enough oxygen for the weed to burn.
4. yeah weed sometimes falls out if your joint is too loose. once you learn to roll better your joints will be tighter
5. tobacco isn't necessary, it'll help a joint burn better but isn't necessary by anymeans.

tobacco makes the joint last longer, taste smoother, give u kinda a different high... dunno i always use tobacco, i dont smoke cigs anymore thow but i like nicotin, waht can i say :D

break the weed up more and it should burn better, also using only one paper is the way to go.

yea your only problem was the weed wasnt busted up good enough, get a buster only way to fix that problem 100%

one paper is ok
tighter is better but not to tight that you cant take a pull. but the tighter the slower it burns.
the card board or roach as it is usually called is not nessasary but it is nice cause you can smoke it till it hits that so you use all the weed.
the dope fell out of the joint cause it wasent tight.
and i would say that you should try it out with the tobaccy once to see if you like it if you dont then you dont do it again right so one shot at it is not going to hurt you... ok technicly it kind of dose cause it is tobacco but that is not the point here.

I don't plan on using tobacco if I don't have to since I don't want to get into cigarretts. (too expensive...)

hey you can use tobacco with out getting into cigarretts you just have to buy a pouch of tobaccy like american spirt that had no chemicals added (and also tastes mighty nice) to it for like 7 bucks. and for me it lasted like 6 months if i never roll up a smoke with no dope in it.

1 i need a picture of what your talking abotu
2 yes i use one paper all the time, unless i make it to lose then i will take another paper and wrap it with that so it makes it tighter "keep in mind this is after youve already rolled it with the first paper"
3 no its not , i only use it if i use a joint roller mashine "the little plastic thing thats for rolling joints, get one there less than 10 bucks and it rolls perrfect joints

wish i could help. i cant roll joints for shit!!!!! lol. im gettin pretty good at blunts.. but joints i really am bad. i dont even wana try it bc im scared to waste the weed. i def. need to learn how to do it. that website is sweet but im not good at following drawn diagrams. the videos are good, but i really need like some1 to show me in person! lol. no one around here i kno really smoke joints, we all just roll blunts. someone come over and help me! lol

LOL when i started smoking i thought that packin a bowl was a waste of weed. The point is that everyone enjoys herb in a different way. Every way is good, untill u find yours :D:D:D

I suggest that if u want a tight well burning joint, that you should pen roll and thats when u take a pen/pencil and wrap the paper around it and lick the glue. This will leave you a nice cylinder on the pen and then slide the paper an eighth off and insert the filter (thick cardboard) then when thats secure just take the whole paper off the pen and fill it up with weed. Im high right now so if explination sounds funny, then look it up on the internet. Peace out man and remember rolling takes practice.
