I miss the '90's. I miss the shows that were good and they were all original and good. I miss it because I was younger so I could enjoy more stuff without a worry in the world and it wasnt as insane as it is now. Also the movies and music were much better. Who else misses the '90's or am I the only one?

I'm not sure if I miss the 90's, but I do miss being young. You didn't know the world and nothing bothered you. I'd do anything to have that care free lifestyle again.

I to miss the 90's. Though I was young (only 12 by 1999), looking back, being able to just have no real worries, to be able to actually play with friends (you never just hung out with your friends in elementary/middle school, you actually did stuff), essentially to be relatively innocent (though I guess that fades in middle school). Great times.

I'm glad I'm the age I am now, but I still miss being younger. Everytime they play music from the 90's as oldies or flashbacks, I feel old.

I actually don't miss very much from the 90's, unless we're talking about sports. Then I can go on all day about a fantastic decade of sports. To me, the 90's was a denim-infested-decade with very odd and tacky clothing/hairstyles.

Full House sucked.

Yup, I said it.

I like the new millenium. It's fresh.

Sounds like you kids just miss being youngsters again versus actually missing it b/c you were just a child, and not having to do shit besides wake up and watch Scooby Doo all day. I know I do. But it's just weird b/c some of you were very young in the 90's, so do you remember all that much about it besides Barney and Power Rangers?

Okay, the only things I do miss from the 90's are Bill Clinton and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

But it's time to move on. ~

Yeah definately the movies and music were better,... now some of the commercial stuff is so fabricated,... some of the movies are almost painful to watch,... but everything goes in shifts, you have one good decade, your bound to have a shit one eventually. Most people miss the past because they miss their youth, important distinction to make.

I really dont remember a whole lot of the 90s as far as pop culture goes. I was born in 91 so thats kinda why. Although definetly the music was better. Even pop music was good back then. It wasn't all rap like it is today. Not saying rap as bad but all pop should not be rap. And vice versa. Things were good. The US wasnt involved in any major wars, people were being optimistic about the future(until Y2K). And of course, children's tv reached its peak in the 1990s. Or maybe thats just my opinion since i grew up watching kids tv in the 90s. I mean seriously, how can you say shows like rugrats, captain planet and the planeteers, or reboot were bad shows. They may be a little cheesy looking back but they were still awesome. Good by 90s, we barely knew ye...

I do miss my childhood, ya know.. having no responsibilites.

But I remember a lot when I was young and livin' in the 90's (born in 84), and even today I swear that the 90's really didn't have anything that people will remember as an 'awesome decade'... or there's really nothing that defines it.

The 60's will be remembered for the hippie generation, 70's for disco, the 80's were just a fucked up decade with big hair and awful clothes.. and well, what were the 90's?

You know you're a 90's kid if...

*You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air".

*You've worn leggings and felt stylish.

*You yearned to be part of the Baby-Sitters club.

*You use to love playing with your MY Little Pet Shop.

*You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

*You wore a ponytail on the side of your head and had scrunchies.

*You remember reading "Goosebumps".

*You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off".

*You have pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf.

*You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

*You remember the craze then the banning of yo-yo's.

*You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...Not...

*You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together.

*You collected pokemon cards.

*You wore socks over leggings scrunched down.

*You knew what it meant to say "Care Bear Stare"

*You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell".

*You played and or collected "Pogs".

*You used to pretend to be a MIGHTY MORPHIN Power Ranger.

*You had at least one GigaPet or Nano and brought it everywhere.

*You watched the ORIGINAL Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Ninja Turtles

*Yikes pencils and rubbers were the shit.

*You remember when the new Beanie Babies were always sold out.

*You used to wear those stick on earings, not only on your ears, but at the corners of your eyes.

*You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

*You thought it would be so cool to be Alex Mack.

*You know the Macarena by heart.

*Talk to the hand" ... enough said.

* You thought Brain from 'Pinkey and the Brain' would finally take over the world.

*You were made to wear a pair of leggings with the straps on the bottom. ie: stir-ups

*Bum Bags, or Fanny Pax whatever you called them.

*You collected tazos.

*I'LL BE BACK!

*2 words ... SPICE GIRLS...

Hell of crazy thinking about being a kid again. I fondly remember the 90's , even like 1991 and 1992. Things are really simple when you're younger. I remember going to Arkansas in 1993.. since then I've acquired 4 brothers in my life. I remember watching the first episode of Are you Afraid of the Dark... I remember watching Eureka's Castle every morning. My first favorite show was David the Gnome. But uh.. I remember when I'd watch nickelodean all day before. Yeeeeap.

Man David the Gnome is the shit when I think about it. It's also a really twisted idea if you think about it... little people. How scary and absurd.

That made me instantly think of the girl in Napoleon Dynamite.

how about the simpsons? those were all the classic episodes when they were coming out on thursday nights, that was a family ritual to watch the simpsons, and remember all the bullshit with trying to ban it in schools and whatnot? i was in art class, probably like 92 or 3, or like 4th grade or something, it was a "fee-draw" day, a day when the teacher didn't feel like doing shit, i drew this awesome picture of bart riding a skateboard, she tore it up while i was finishing it in front of the whole class, it was on huge posterboard too, and was like, i won't have this in my classroom, nobody could believe it, awe but remember reciting line after line from last nights episode with friends in school...like the entire next day? some of the funniest stuff ever made...yeh but things are cool right now, i don't wish i was back in the 90s, and going through junior high and high school again, they were fun times, but things just keep getting better, and they still will, unless shit hits the fan with all the craziness in the world, but don't concentrate on that, concentrate on living life.

the 90s werent that great, i would much rather ive in the present, but i guess the 90s did bring on the "grunge" movement which pulled rock out of its slum, poofy hair and spandex? fook that.

some good bands that were started or peaked in the 90s, Alice In Chains, Pantera, Nirvana, Screaming trees, Sound garden

LOL, all you youngin's talkin about how you miss being a kid. You're still kids. 10 years from now you'll be lookin back saying how you miss the..wtf do you call this decade..the 00's?

Anyhow, yeah I miss the 90's. Lot's of Grateful Dead shows and a Pink Floyd concert were def highlights. Best of all '96 was when I met my wife. Plus, we didn't have a complete moron for a president until 2000.
