Anyone have a SuperNova Reflector?

I just bought this air cooled supernova reflector and the top duct is completely blocked by the inside reflective material.....except for the small space between the bend in the metal, so very little air is getting sucked out.....or pulled in depending on the hose attachment.

i installed it and the temps in my cabinet started to rise. I called the place that sold it to me and asked if i needed to cut out an intake hole and pretty much got laughed at (i think he was baked, so no hard feelings ) he said he had never had anyone complain about the air flow before.

any suggestions as to what is wrong? who ever heard of a problem with a reflector hood !


ps....it has a 6" inline duct fan so i dont think thats the problem

I would take it into the store and ask the guy how to hook it up properly. Do the instructions thats come with it seem right? Does the instructions pictures look the same as your model?

I wouldn't take shit from the store owner (High Or not). Get them to show you what you spent your money on. and how it works best. If they don't return it and go somwhere else I can't stand Grow Shops, espically Head shops they are terrible I like to find PLant Shops onces that sell all kinds of stuff to everyone not just weed growers.

They are more helpful and way kinder to a less experienced grower such as myself
