I'm getting SO sick of multiple identical postings in the cultivation section. It's getting really out of control, and spreads the useful information out too much when all of them get replied to by different people. Please can the mods jump on this?

It would help if you posted the threads in question here to help us out...I've been too busy dealing with miserable members to give my normal attention to the grow section. If you post here, One of us will manage the situation for you...thanks, latewood

I'm confused at this 'problem'?

Are you guys mad that there are multiple posts being made, or that we have people jumping 'forum to forum'?

Most of the multiple posts are done quite by accident, for various reasons, and as for us 'forum jumpers', I hope there isn't any hate just b/c we don't stay put. I myself hop around all over the place, but surely that can't piss some people off?

Thanks for any input. ~

I think he means people making a post in the basic growing forum, then making another exactly the same in indoor growing and sometimes putting another one in the hydro forum, when the person only ever had to make one thread and wait for the replies.

If it is this then its always been happening.

Well see...and that makes sense. But you have to take into consideration the reason someone may do that. I have a journal going in Indoor growing, but when I had a question pertaining to using organic nutrients, it makes sense that people who frequent the organic nutrient board would be great people to answer that.

So then...do I include it in my journal? So other newbs can learn from my journal....or do I post it exclusivly in the Organic forum? In this case, I stated what I was going to do in my journal. And I asked about what I was doing in Organics.

Maybe that is double posting. But it's logical double posting. Oh and also latewood when I first started I did post my journal twice. So there is a journal in basic growing right here. http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=79232

If someone could delete that I'd appreciate it.

In your case...at least what I have always done is: Make a post in Organics...then copy/paste organics thread into your journal for reference. then everyone has use for it.

To clarify what was queried here: Stinky Attic is complaining about a user posting a question in the basic grow forum...which will get answered. Then the same person goes to indoor growing or plant problems, or visa~versa; And they post the identical Q

Therein lies the problem. Users should be patient when they post because eventually in a days time...the person who knows the answer will login and answer the question.

It is a misconception that Helpers, Mentors, or Moderators are ignoring your post. However, sometimes it is a good thing that you don't get an answer as opposed to getting the wrong answer.
Understand?
So, all we ask is that you accept the fact that although you have an emergency, and I've been there, and we all feel for ya'. the person that can help you is not online and therefore your Question has to wait. I hope this clarifiies the situaton for you newer members.

We also have another problem in the Grow Lounge. Newer members are posting grow related question's and that is not what the lounge is for. It is for semi-off-topic discussions and humor, and such for growers who more often than not...don't stray beyond the cultivaiton's Forum. Peace
