Anyone else in here love to go fishing. I lived on a lake in Louisiana before i moved up here to idaho and went fishing all the time. I'm about to start flyfishing up here, I just need to find a few places to go. Some of the best memories i have of being a kid were fishing with my dad in the marsh down in south lousiana for bull reds and speckled trout. Ahhhhh great times. Anyways I love fishing no matter what but when i lived on the lake i loved to get in my pirogue, smoke a blunt on the way to my fishing hole, and sit there and catfish for hours. I would take an ice chest sometimes and drink some beer and just relax. better than any damn xanex or anti anxiety pill ive ever taken.

fuck ya, fishing is the best, nothing like burning a bowl waiting for the sturgen to hit the bait.Lived in seattle and there is no end to the fishing, always something else biting somewhere. if you like bass you should hit the snake in early june, smallies will slam the hardware. up above Coeur d'Alene there is some pretty good fishing if you want to keep moving up the chain lakes, largemouths, the snake also has some catts in there to if you really are a frenchman!

Yeah it's fucking great. Just chillin in a boat with your closest homies, high, drinking beers and talking about good times. Surrounded by nature, everything is calm. Fuck, I want to go fishing now.

Fishing is just about the best hobby ever. Bass, trout, carp, pike... whatever. Its all about getting out in the fresh air with a couple friends and having a good time. :stoned:

If you don't eat what you catch, which you probaly don't, put it back, respect the fishies. I used to go fishing with a few mates out at a lake near one of my mates houses. Besides the socialising there was nothing except minnows, could have probaly found a small boat but the waters like six inches deep.

Absolutely the best. I used to skip school to go fishin'. I've caught brookies on flies back in the 60s. Now,it's almost an interuption to catch a fish. I just love being there. Nothin' better than 'mokin a doobie an wettin a line. Sometimes I dig drownin' a worm or two. But,I think you may have guessed, I'm old school.

fly fishing is the best. i love every kind of fishing , but you just can't beat the fight you get with a fly rod. and that feeling of success when you've caught it on a fly you've tied yourself

Fishing is indeed the shiz, but to be honest fresh water just doesn't do it for me ever since I landed my first tarpon in The Keys.

My dad and I went down to Panama in '04 to Pinas Bay, the Pacific side. Holy big fuckin fish Batman! Caught my first Pacific sailfish (112lbs.) on 30lb gear, and the same day landed 3 "small" marlin, 250-350lbs. A guy on a different boat who was also staying at Tropic Star landed a 600+lb black marlin. Day before I left I caught my biggest tuna ever, 179lb yellowfin.

Panama is gorgeous, I can't wait to go back. Word to those who like to travel and fish, www.tropicstar.com

*Ferris Bueller* It is so choice. If you have the means I highly recommend it.

enjoyed the hobby since i was 6 y/o. 23 now.. started off fishing the freshwater lakes in the mountains.... moved on to fishing local saltwater fishing piers, boats, and surffishing. Cannabis combined with with fishing is extremely relaxing and exciting esp. when there's a 6 ft. wide bat ray peeling line offa your reel and making a mad dash. Fishing is my escape from the rough, stressful, reality I struggle with.... if it weren't for fishing, video games, and ganja... shit life would sucka lot. :)

I went on Sunday and caught 2 nice catfish. My friend has a nice pond up on the mountain stocked with them and we threw out a few handfuls of dogfood to get them feeding. the first one I caught was about 3 ft. and must have weighed 25-30 pounds but it snapped my line right when I tried to grab him. The other 2 were about 15 and 10 pounds. I cleaned one and froze the other and fried it up that night. Man was it fun I had some brown ales and a couple joints prerolled... goodtimes.

Just got back from a camping/fishing weekend. I like to walk the small mountain streams in Pennsylvania, prowling for trout. Got a few very nice Browns, and one very small pickerel. Throwing spinners, as I walk, or flies, when I take the flyrod for a walk.
There are just miles and miles of wild streams in that area. The fish wont be big and large.....but the fish colors are just explosive!!
