just a local head shop. i guess technically they're tobacco stores or smoke shops, but yeah just ask around, google "head shop" and whatever city you live in.

Sometimes you can find some glass in gas stations. Around here there is atleast 3 that have a small case with some glass, one even has a nice lil mini bong. You might have luck with gas stations, but I've never really seen glass in 'em asides from down here.

go to yahoo.com yellow-pages and search for it, also glass is way better than wood, and a good glass bong can cost anywhere between 50-300$

GLASS, GLASS, GLASS. I don't like wood. At all. I smoked out of a crappy wooden pipe once- BIG mistake... it was gross.

Try googling where the closest head shop is :) good luck!

Around here a decent glass pipe averages $30, the more detailed glass pipes can go up to $100.

You can get a cheap plastic bong for around $15-20, I bought one about a month ago, but I wouldn't recommend it. It does cool the smoke down, but it is still a piece of junk. I'm about ready to simply throw it out, the bowl is tiny and it has a hole in the side for the carb. I got what I paid for I guess. Pipe wise you can get a pretty good piece for around 30. I just bought a mushroom the other day for that price, your supposed to get better hits than your typical pipe (bigger hits.) Haven't been able to use it yet though. Wood is cheaper and won't break when you drop it, but I always get glass.

As everyone else said you can get them from a local head shop. I love shoping for new pipes, I almost like it as much as the actual smoking process. Have fun.

That's tough about the glass pieces being $30. I live in Northern NJ (home to some pretty good bud) and I just take the train into NYC and head to Canal St. Down in Chinatown they sell pipes on the street and the prices they advertise are similar to yours, but if you haggle the price drops pretty quick and you can get a small bowl for $5. The bubbler I bought there I got for $10 too.

Yeah it really does, i could go down to new orleans if I really wanted to buy a cheaper one. A friend of mine bought a nice piece from this guy always on the street with a suitcase for $15 I think. The problem with that is, it took him two days to find him. He just wanders around until people who have heard about him approach. The shops on bourbon also have some and it would be very easy to bargain with them. The only reason I don't, is because the selection is so much smaller than my local headshops and if I don't see anything I like it is a waste of a trip.

When I get a chance, I will post pictures of what my $30 was worth.
