Hi Head...
: )
If I understand correctly...
It is not possible for a plant to dry in one day.. Unless you have some sort of heating element or hot air blowing on it..
Actually it can get DRY.. but NOT smokeable DRY... unless you are artificially heating it... which I seriousl ...DON'T RECOMMEND
cheers

hey head...
sounds good..
keep a very very close eye on your plants while drying..
I witnessed 5lbs of chronic get turned into 1lb of dust.... this guy had 4 fans and a 1000 watt HPS on in the room to help decrease drying time...
It dried to much and to fast.. yikes
COSTLY mistake!!!
cheers : )

Wait a week at least. Even if they seem dry now, they can't be yet, and putting them in jars too early will just mean you have to crack your jars open more often, so might as well give them a full week of drying. Don't go looking for shortcuts now, after you've made it this far!
Someone was wise enough to absorb enough info to grow 5 pounds of chronic, but somehow didn't realize that light degrades the chemicals when drying/curing/storing? Bummer!

Well I do that process withholding water when I'm going to harvest but I try to do it around a week before I plan to harvest. I have never had them dry overnight, even with a fan on them 24/7. (directly I might at) The way I tell if there dry is 1. by gently feeling the buds to the point where you would smoke them. 2. and then by the stem snapping thing.
When there at this stage time to put em in the airtight jars, at a orange, lime or lemon peel in there. Then cure em for as long as you can stand it this way. (dont forget to open the lids of the jars atleast an hour each day, circulating the air in the jar and moving the buds around.) Btw, sorry I got to this post so late man.

from what ive heard the longer you take to dry em the smoother the smoke the shorter you take to dry em the harsher it is
i wouldnt use a heat element to speed it up you risk burnin away the thc jus leave em for a few days see how they do
dont ber impatient dryin to fast can ruin the flavour quit a bit i found
