Being able to give props or respect add to reputation or whatever you want to call it. This is the only site that doesn't have that option I think. Also being able to PM from your user page would be nice, hell I didn't figure out until a few days ago how to PM people.

This turns into a popularity contest. Mods don't like them for some reason.

Well stated Billionfold...the Administration feels that karma is a popularity contest at times...we do not want you to gain false information from a member just because he/she has a great amount of karma...We want members to read information and judge said information and members on merit...and not whether or not a member has received a ton of Karma.

PM's, We don't allow as a security issue. peace

No not to judge solely on karma but as something to help base your decisions. I don't see how its a popularity contest, people who have helped the most people or have contributed more to the boards or grows especially well. Those people would have 'karma'. Also I don't know how PM's are a security issue. But whatever, these where just suggestions to make this site BETTER.

Well, let me put it this way then. The policy is already in place and is not going to change. Did you come to Cdot to debate the policy of the Administration, or to enjoy the many free advantages offered here? I suggest the latter. peace.

p.s. I have taught a countless many to grow, and I don't need Karma points to validate my contributions to this site

So I guess theres no point in having a feedback and suggestions section is there. Or atleast take the suggestions part out. No need to get your panties in a twist, Latewood. Also what are these 'free advantages' you speak of?

P.S. good for you! ;)

I like the boards just how they are. Atleast they dont discriminate and ban you by age like 420 gaynetics does.

That's a suggestion:cool:

Mouthing off to a moderator isn't the smartest way to make friends here. I was just telling you how it is.:smokin:

peace damnit!

For your information I've already made 'friends' here. And I guess its not if you want to be friends with a moderator, which if they're like you are I don't want to be 'friends' with them. And for the record, I wasn't "mouthing off" I was stating my opinion...this is the last I have to say about the subject, a good day to you.

The reason I like the no karma points policy is that newbies will be more comfortable knowing that everyone here is equally valued in the eyes of the site at large.
I feel strongly that sites with the karma points are really uncomfortable to join at first because you've got such a big hill to climb to not be a little useless underling with no respect.
That is actually why I'm most active on this site of any I've ever joined.

Thank you Psycho4Bud, I appreciate your attitude. ;)

StinkyAttic, you do have a point, but just because you don't have 'karma' at first, all you have to do is post accurate information and help members out, post photos of your amazing grows, be involved in the site and you will earn respect, and possibly 'karma'. But I understand your position.

Thank you, StinkyAttic and Psyco4Bud for your mature attitude toward my opinion.

Smoky...You are the immature one here...All I did was bluntly explain policy to you...So, Just consider yourself not my friend and you will be treated accordingly in the future. don't bother to respond. you are ignored. FO
