Couple weeks ago i made weed tea..kind of. this is what i did. i took about 1.5-2g of beaster in a tea bag that i took the tea out of and stapled it shut, i bowled some water and then let the tea bag sit for about 10 mins and dipped it up and down a few times. the water turned green and it tasted like weed. it didnt get me the least bit high it just made me dumb..=P i got pissed and knowing that it prolly wouldnt do anything, i just ate the weed out of the tea bag. what did i do wrong.. it might just be b/c i have a high tolorence level and didnt put enough weed in. idk it was my first time making it.
any answers?
thanks.

your always better off smoking it.
try smimmering the weed in pan of water with lid on for 30-40 mins and pour it through a sieve.
i've never drunk weed don't think the thc content is good, eating is ok but it costs a lot of ganja, best off smoking it any day of the week :stoned:

THC is not water soluble
you need to use alcohol or 'fat' to extract the thc
you can use whole milk and/or liqueur
soak it for at least a couple hours and don't boil it

THC is water soluble, it's solubility in water is very low but it is soluble.
2.8mg/1l at 23degres.
if anyone makes tea with weed it's for the flavour not the high. :stoned:

if you make you tea right you get high
like a big body stone it's almost too much
mine always comes out so strong I have to delute it
THC is fat soluble not water soluble.
Water-soluble could be considered the opposite of fat-soluble.
Solubilities can be broken into four general classes:
Soluble
Slightly soluble
Sparingly soluble
Insoluble
Sparingly soluble materials have very low solubilities such as 0.5 g per liter or (much) lower.
2.8 milligram(s) is 0.002800 gram(s)
.0028g/L
THC is sparingly (water) soluble

^^ so how do you make your weed tea?

There's alot of techniques for brewing tea. One I haven't tried yet is to steep the weed in water first and throw out the water. Water steeps all the salts, chlorophyll and crap out... kinda like a water cure.
Then you go ahead and extract the thc with your milk fat.
What I usually do is get a bunch of stems/trim or bud.
about the amount of stems you would find in 2 ounces of flower tops
soak it in whole milk or cream along with some vanilla extract (extract has alcohol in it)
soak it for a few hours or overnight
you can heat it but don't boil it
get out your Mr. Coffee Maker
strain it through a coffee filter
save the liquid
that's it
I usually put the left over (strained) weed
thru the coffee maker with a little water to rinse it off
it's good in coffee
makes my eyeballs jiggle
WARNING: Body Stone, use with caution. Do not use if you have liver, kidney or any other serious health problems.

THC is fat soluble not water soluble.
THC is sparingly (water) soluble
just read those two lines and see if you can see the same contradiction as i can. thc isn't water soluble, but it is just a little.
'it's solubility in water is very low' my own words just a few posts ago.
don't see much point in disagreeing and agreeing with someone at the same time myself.

I agree that thc is sparingly soluble (3)
I disagree that thc is soluble (1)
If thc is sparingly soluble (3)
it can not be soluble (1)
si?

Next time add a teaspoon of butter. It will totally dissolve the THC. It's the magic ingredient. You can talk all you want about how THC is semi-soluble in water, but dude, you're not in a chem lab. So go the easy route and add butter to your tea. Simple!

All you have to do is mix it in with hot chocolate. It tastes good and gets you high as fuck. Every time I've eaten weed its been by hot chocolate or brownies.
