I was looking around for a pocket microscope and seen a few jewelers magnifiying glasses that are 30x and are cheaper then the pocket microscope. So I was wandering if the jewelers one would be better the than the pocket microscope. I have been told you have to cut a piece of the plant for the pocket microscope to be able to look at the tricomes better. Which one do you think would be better?

There was a thread about using the pocket microscopes and how to tell when the buds are ready. And from what I heard you do need cut a piece of the plant if you want to see it under the microscope (just a tiny tiny piece).

Not sure Dro Princess, But I do know that the Radio Shack handheld Microscope works great and isn't that expensive. Only $10.

Stinkbudd, thanks for posting that http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=79830 thread. I was hopeing I would have to post all that again! ;)

This thread here, the guys compare the jewelers glass to the pocket microscope. Looks like the jewelers glass lost.
