Seed germination help

hey guys well im new to these forums just signed up today well.... i've got three kronic seeds sitting in soaked paper towels ..you know the old germination method... well... i've had one seed in there for about a week now and still nothing from it..... they have grown in size no doub tabout that ... but... they stil have not cracked open and i still see no white little root. HOw logn does it usually take and wut should i do if they dont "hatch" within the next week.

make sure the paper towels are still moist, and if you dont get anything within another week chuck'em and get new ones

i put my seeds in a cup of water (make sure they all sink) and on heat source until they crack (can barely see taproot emerging) then I put them in moist paper towel in an air tight rubbermaid/food container and on a heat source (top of refrigerator or me on top of my external hard driver)
whole process should not take more than a week

k then how big of a tap root do you wait for until you tranfer into soil?

aout 1,2,3 cm or half an inch or so
make sure its before the seed has popped off(thats just what i think)
get the soild ready, i use 4:1:1 ratio potting soil,perlite,vermicultite
then water the pots until it drains out the bottom
next stick your pinky about 1/2 to 3/4 down in soil put taproot facing down
it can be a little tricky because its so small but youll get it
then pack back up the hole with soil and put under CFLs to start vegging should see them pop out of soil within a few days
