my closet set-up and log

this is my closet set-up. Got 3 big bud seedlings at the moment in a large pot under a 400 watt hps lamp. Not the ideal lamp for seedlings but its wat ive got. I've put the lamp far away so the seedlings don't get stressed out but will lower as they get bigger to encourage larger growth. Anyone got any advice on anything i should or could do to improve ? Ill try and get a log going so you can all see the progress.

the only thing i can think of is to seperate those seedlings soon .. before their roots get tangled up together! but other then that very nice setup!

Place the lamp a lot closer to avoid the plants going for height. In a decent setup with good ventilation, even a 400W lamp can be placed some 30-40cm away from the plants. Just check that the temperature is okay - I am using HPS on my seedlings in veg state without a problem...
