The lower leaves will die off, because they are not being used by the plant to make energy. Dont cut them off though, let them die off. If you cut them you'll shock the plants and they'll take a week or 2 to repair the damage.

It's normal to have a few colas. Normally people pinch the plant to do this on prupose. You want as many colas as you can, more cola's x right amounts of light = very nice large buds.

If your getting very small yellow spots all over the plant it could be spider mites. The yellow spots are where they have sucked the plants juice out.
They normally thrive in very dry conditions, so if it is turn up the humiity.

Saying that, it could still be nutes.

It's the nutes, and that is clearly overfeeding. Lower leaves shouldn't be dying off already. That commonly happens to an over-vegged plant and a plant that hits flowering. When they are that young, they shouldn't be losing any leaves yet.

Ease up on the nutes, and only feed 1/2 strength once a week, but for the time being, water with clean water until the burning/yellowing has stopped, then start feeding again.

agre with nochowder, cut back on the nutes.also did you add dolomite lime to your soil?

Once the small foliage looks like it is just about died off cut it off at the base cause it isn't helping your plant at all. Dolomite lime is used to lower the Ph of soil so I doubt it has a serious effect upon your current problem. Another thing, I highly doubt the yellowing is from spider mites. Spider Mites cause small holes in the plants not yellowing. I believe that your yellowing is most likely caused by a Nitrogen defecency. A nitrogen defecency is normal during flowering. Let me ask a couple questions.

1) Have you been using any nutes and if so did you switch recently?
2) What light cycle have you been using and have you changed it recently?
3) Did you top (cut the growing shoot off) or pinch you plant to give it its four tops?

Happy Toking :rasta:

I disagree. The lower leaves, such as the cotyledons and first 2 serated fingers normally die off at the stage the plants in question are at, so i'd say THAT is normal, not a problem. Altohugh, as with the large yellow spots [I've now looked at the plants, and its not really small] i'd say it is nutes.

Actually, the holes happen AFTER the small yellow spots, where the spider mites have eaten and sucked the liquid out of the plant. When i read the first post he said small yellow spots all over the leaves, and i didnt look at the pictures so it sounded like the start of a spider mite problem, but now i have looked im pretty sure its nutes.

Well to answer a few questions
1. Its soil grow from seed using all-mix

2. Ionic nutrient..but i was using the recommended from 4 weeks old, i think i should have been using weaker as they were too young, but backed off now for 3 weeks and only just started feeding with half stregnth

3. tap water is slightly cidic here for some reason, so i ph down...might have used too much in barrel and now have ph of 5.00

4. done a nutrient test using liquid and all seemed to be near the right setting

its a closet setup i made myself

fully lined with mylar
dual lamp for seedlings and plants

i got ecolight 250, halide 250 and HPS for flowering (but not used yet)

i have door intake fan and ceiling mounted carbon phat-filter

i even have 2 inside fans linked to a thermostatic switch

temperatire is approx 28-30, and humidity is around 40%

I have to water every day in dark period

and they are on a 20-4 cycle

i love my babies..i hope they will love me back !

ps. some of these numbers for bulbs might be wrong as i am not dressed and can't be bothered to check ;)

thanks for all your help

All I have to say is besides those few little leafs you are stressing about
those plants look very healthy. The coloration of the plants makes me
think they have a small (N) deficiency but besides that they look good.
Dont freak out I think they will be A-OK.
