View Full Version : When Do You Repot?

These plants are 1.5 weeks old from sprout, I can see the roots poking out of the bottom of the pot. is it time to repot? Or is there a better time? The pot is 3.5 or 4 inches I believe.
the lighting in HOmedepot 27W cool whites 6500k
Any help is gretaly appreciated.

Are those half gallon square pots? If so, that's what I use too, and I don't repot until I know which are females. Why waste good soil on males, is always my thinking. Up to you though, and it certainly won't hurt to repot them. I just save my good soil, as best I can, for the females, because I'm a cheapskate. ;)

no not time yet you should be able to grow them till atleats 6" inches in those pots

You pots should have small drainage holes on the bottom. Look at the bottom of those holes and see if the roots are bunced up down there and then it is time to repot.

Cool thanks for the advioce guys will replant in about a week as I will be able to prepare everrything. THe pot size is 4 inches.
