So I work at a packaging/shipping store, and this guy comes in today wanting to send a bag to his wife or ex-wife or something. Theres a bunch of assorted things in the bag, including a prescription bottle of 504 percocets (random number i know). So here I am, a big fan of percocets myself, but not a big fan of the dollar per milligram price of Percs around here, holding 500 of them in my hand. Damn. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to sneak a few of them out of there. I mean, what are the odds the lady will count through all 500 of them. But at the same time, it could mean a lot of trouble for me, even though the odds are low. I have until Monday to decide becuase thats when they will be shipped out. Any opinions?

thanks in advance guys

what if she really needs them for a medical reason. its selfish to take them from someone who would be in a lot of pain because of your actions.

Don't do it. It could land you in big time for breaking Federal Laws. Not to mention a drug charge. Actually, there could be quite a few charges.

If I'm expecting that package, and it could be my medicine, each and every pill will be counted and acounted for. If any are gone missing, Ima want to know where they are. It would be traced back to you and charges would be pressed.
It would cause you a boatload of troubles. BIG troubles.
***Don't do the crime if ya can't pay the time.***

Another thing. The guy who brought the bag in.....he knows who you are. He'll come back to see you again on Wednesday or Thursday in a foul mood.

Yea, you guys are right. It wouldnt be very nice. My friend says he thinks they will check the bottle for fingerprints, but hes probably just stoned.

Why dont you avoid any federal charges and the loss of your job and tons of headaches and do the right thing. Just ask yourself if you can afford to go to prison right now and have a felony on your record.

I dont know what shipping center you work for but this is one good reason I dont trust sanctity of mail to private carriers. I used to work for United Parcel years ago. I didnt like the things I saw going on. Workers randomly cutting into parcel to see whats inside. They never knew they were under surviellance.

Sorry dude I dont approve of you rifling through peoples private mail business.

I knew agents that worked for UPS, only because I was higher up the ladder. They will conduct honesty stings to catch dishonest employees. What a perfect sting to hand you a bag with goodies in it to test your temptation. The odds are not as low as you think.

All the other private carriers, Fedex, etc. do the same thing with agents and stings.

Later.

No kidding. My mother takes percocets. She has terrible back pain.

I'm sorry for ya mom. I understand/know her pain. Most of the Pharms don't really help much, just irritate the stomach and keep us semi-dazed. But, it's whats legal, ya know? Good ole government.

I hope the OP doesn't get stupid. We'd have to start a fund for a road trip to visit him in the fed pen. not. lol. if he's stupid, he's on his own.

Maybe you're being set up too. ever think of that? Maybe the guy is a killer and hoping you choke down a couple of those lil pills. :D

Stevie, you've gotten some really solid advice from some decent people on here to do the right thing and not help yourself to any of those pills. I think you'd be wise to heed that advice unless you want to find yourself in big trouble. Seriously, it's not worth the risk.

Maybe... maybe instead of taking them, you could put in a little bud of weed. You know, to lift the mood of whatever sickly old lady is in need of percocets?
