Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Sublime
Slightly Stoopid
Goldfinger (Hang-Ups album .)
That's all I can think. I don't listen to a lot of it, so hopefully that qualifies.

Give me a serving of Reel Big Fish any day, please. The only 'ska' music I like. Give them a listen, they fucking rock. ~

One good song is Jamrock. IDK who its by.
It's by Damien Marley and is from his album titled "Welcome to Jamrock".
Is a good album but it's not all "heavy" reggae, some songs are actualy quite pop/RnB-ish but is still okay. DL "Road to Zion" ft Nas or "Pimpas Paradise" "Exodus" is good too.

Hell yes!
"Sell Out" is a perfect song. It's so damn true, too. And of course, a good drinking song like "Beer" cannot be forgotten. So many others, too. All I can hear in my head is this though:
**"SELL OUT! With me, oh yeah. The record com-pan-ee is gonna give you lotsa money and everything is gonna be alright!"**

sweet jesus. i LOVE ska.
if you liek the skatalites youll love the specials and the toasters, theyre old school two-tone ska. practically reggae. they RULE. also some other ska bands of quality:
Catch 22 (Keasby Nights is the best album in ska in my opinion)
Streetlight Manifesto (new and improved catch 22 basically)
Less than Jake (HELLO ROCKVIEW is another classic, try losing streak and borders and boundries too)
Mustard Plug (very fun and funny ska)
Reel Big Fish (classic)
Goldfinger (yeah, that guy had it right Hang Ups is definitly amazing)
The Suicide Machines (more punk/ska, but try Destruction by Definition)
Big D & the Kids Table (so sweet...another ska band)
One Cool Guy (I doubt you'll find anything by them cause they're older and pretty local, but they were another sweet ska band that ruled)
The Derringers (another cool ska band)
Edna's Goldfish (classic ska)
Five Iron Frenzy (Christian ska, but SO good hahaha)
Folly (hardcore with ska beats, so much fun hahaha)
Mad Caddies (good ol' 90's ska)
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones (everyone knows "The Impression That I Get" they rule too)
Weapons of Brass Destruction (so funny, so good)
That's about all that are worth mentioning in my opinion...for you since you already started out with the Skatalites I'd reccomend the Toasters and the Specials absolutely. From there if you love ska you need the album "Keasby Nights" by Catch 22, "Hello Rockview" by Less Than Jake, everything by Reel Big Fish, some Edna's Goldfish if you can find it and ABSOLUTELY some Five Iron Frenzy.
ska rules. end of story. glad you made the right choice into the genre! welcome to the good side haha
keep it two tone baby!
