Alright, well i'm taking Isotretinoin for my acne. Although my acne isn't severe i've had it for 5.5 years and i've had enough. I just started taking Isotretinoin about a 3 weeks ago, so its been in my system ever since. I haven't smoked any pot since, and i wanted to now. Would there be anything i should worry about? I mean i haven't been able to find any health concerns or anything liek that. I'm wondering if it might react somehow with the drug, perhaps making my acne worse, anything like that. I know that Marijuana can lead to people becoming depressed and what not, i'm not liek that though and Isotretinoin hasn't affected me in any such way yet. Basically is there any health related issues i should worry about? I got some good stufff and i wouldn't want to let it go to waste. :rasta:

Thanks

Smoke for the first time with a good friend who knows you. Marijuana does not interfere with most drugs. It has been shown to make some pain killers more effective, but may interfere slightly with aspirin and NSAIDS. Also, eat foods high in vitamin A- there's a tribe in the south Pacific where NO kid has acne! Their diet is based on yams-VERY high in vitamin A. Watch a few of those educational programs about primative tribes who haven't been seduced with "modern diets". Look at the faces of the teens, they all have clear skin! Our American diet sucks, big time! Carrots, apricots, yellow peaches and necarines, yellow corn and liver are good sources. Since it IS possible to OD on vitamin A (first sign, your skin turns yellow), don't buy suppliments, just eat foods high in vitamin A. A zinc suppliment might be in order, though. Zinc helps the body heal faster and fight infections. Zits are infections. American diets are low in zinc. Anyway, learn about nutrition and cure your acne from the inside. Then you won't need the drug. Smoke your weed and chill out. I've toked for 40 years and have yet to see cannabis interact with another drug in a harmful way. But I'd still have that friend with me the first time, just in case you're the first!
