When you are done growing and rdy to chop your plants down. How long does a quality process take to actually smoke the weed?

depends on how smooth you want the smoke. it usually takes me a week or so to dry the bud correctly, then another month or so curing, but you can test smoke some bud within minutes of cutting if you just want to test.
alot of people i know just dry it for a week and then smoke, it works ok, but not as smooth.
if you are in a hurry, i would say a week or so from harvesting

So it all depends on how much curing you want to happen?

exactly, the longer the cure, the smoother the smoke.
but in all actuality, i`ve smoke some quick dry bud that was smooth, and great tasting.
it all depends on the person.

Hello,
I agree with notanovice, it all depends on the person. If you are not in a hurry though I would suggest curring for as long as possible. In my opinion the rewards of an awesome cure is worth so much more than the instant gratification of smoking uncured bud.
Take care.

How would you suggest going about curing? I have heard different methods.
