Just got the closet Mylar'ed up yesterday. Plans are for an eventual 2 chambered closet with a veg chamber on the bottom and the top (what's in the picture) going to be a flowering chamber. There are 3 seedlings in the Coke cans growing strong, about a week away from transplanting into full size pots. The bigger plant was given to my brother. It originally had 3 plants in it but 2 of them were males. It wasn't doing too well, a lot of stretching and weak stems/branches, so we're going to nurture it and then put it under a flowering cycle.

My main problem right now is temperature. With 6 x 27 watt daylight CFLs (6500K, ~10000 lumens total), the closet hovers in the high 80s with the door closed, drops to the low to mid 80s if the door's cracked open. I have rigged up an exhaust system visible in the top left of the picture, which is basically a fan with a funnel blowing through dryer duct into the attic. There's also a fan on the door which pulls cool air through holes in the door plus an oscillating fan in the closet.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated, I'll be updating as our seedlings start getting nice and big. Anyone know of a place to get cheap squirrel cage fans? I can't even imagine how much ventilation is going to be needed when the closet is running 6 x 27 watt CFLs in the veg chamber and 6 x 42 watt CFLs in the flowering.....

You've got a small setup, so I recommend a large DC fan, like PC case fans, or just an inline duct fan, should be less than $50.
