Hello

I have a few questions about centrifugal fans and carbon filter ratings.

Do you know if The Goblin Carbon Filter - 6" x 10" 265-350cfm would work for a EcoPlus 6" Centrifugal Fan 440 cfm ? My light has 6" fans and im using this in a hydrohut mini.

Im using the 6" to 4" reducers on the exhaust side and im trying to pull out all the air I can for a good grow.

I pretty much want to know if they are compatible. The light hood will have holes on both side for max cooling.

yeah it should, because i got the goblin also and i'm using a dayton 465 cfm. I don't know why u would use a 4" reducer for because if ur hood hole is 6" and exhuast fan is 6", then your good to go.

Well the hydrohut mini has a built in 4" exhaust opening at the top. Its precut and sealed. Therefore the reducer is needed to make the connection unless I missed something.

if you fold the filter in half, you can cover the air flow, but you'll lose a 16.6%on the filtered end

It will work, but it'll have a max CFM of around 350.
