Stems are Amazing!

Don't throw out your stems people.... as long as you have a grinder with a crystal catcher, you can make good use of stems.

I bought a nice metal one the other day, and i had filled a bit of a can with stems, and after i grinded them down, i have many many crystals (about .2)

Stems actually work better in the grinder (grind easier then buds) and i get more crystal out of stems.....

and the crystal from stems really fucks you up.... try it one day.

I've grinded stems before and all it did was give me stem powder. I didn;t have a kif catcher. I just tossed them all in a grinder, grinded them, and smoked it. :p Ha ha! I know, duh!

I did see a video on www.waytoomany.com called "don't throw away your stems." All they did was they made a shaker, and put a silk screen screen, on the end of it so you get nothing but the trichs. I made one very similar to theres and I've tried it twice now. Works like a charm and I get some nice potent kif from doing it.

Hey, it's better than tossing them or smoking them as a whole.

Well, I saved up about 10grams of stems, then I put the stems in the freezer for about 30min. This loosens up the trichs from the stems, commonly used for making hash too, and I only got 1 full bowl load of kif, which was maybe .2 of a gram, so no, not a whole lot, but better than nothing when you're dry.

Im making a collection. Got 5 now.

If your using the Kif to make hash, and you want a veru good qaulity pure hash than you want to be looking for about 10 -15 % of the total weight to come through into the catcher.

More than 15% means you get a greener type hash, still good shit, but not as pure.

They say that marijuana has more carcinogens than tobacco.

It's a fact that most of those are not in the smokable part, or, the bud. I know that seeds are nutritous, so I think that maybe the stems are cancerous. But, then again, it's all overwhelmed by the Green.

That's what i did this year when i went on holiday.

I saved the kif in a baggie from all my weed i grinded, and made a brick of hash. IT was fairly pure, a small amount of green came through, but it made no differnce. When it was cooking it stunk my house out, and the high was mental. I loved it, im doing the same thing now, saving it all so i can make a nice big brick. :):)

You have to use your imagination.

What I found at a garage sale years ago was an icing sugar shaker. All it is, is it's about half the size of a pop can, and it has screen at the end of it where the sugar would come out. I just replaced the sugar screen with the right size silk screen. At first, I used pantyhose (laugh if you must) to sift the kif. It has the same microfibers as silk screen, and worked just as well. All I did was pop in the silk screen part, put on the plastic end cap, and I shake away.

Kind of hard to explain, but I'm thinking of taking some photos using the shaker and posting them up here, and show you people how I press my hash. I call it "sledgehammer" hash.

after I read this I went and got my stems and put it in my new grinder w/ kif catcher from Puerto Rico and it really did get a lot of kif in the bottom when I checked
