If it is both a sidecar and a bubbler then it should work like a bubbler. But it could just be a regular glass piece, and if this is the case just pack the bowl and spark it up.

well, its 100% sure that you CAN smoke out of it without water.

if you really arent sure whether or not its also a bubbler, put water in it and see if it works! water isnt going to ruin your pipe

worst case scenario- you suck in a little water

well use your vision, do you know how a bubbler works? if theres a downstem coming off the bowl its a water peice, if not, its a dry peice

Exactly, look for the downstem man. All bubblers have them and if it doesn't have a down stem and a little like bowl shape at the bottom where the water goes, then it isn't a sidecar bubbler.

If the bowl's big and looks like it would be able to hold water like a normal bubbler, then it's a sidecar bubbler, and you can just hit it like normal. But if it just has a little bowl like a spoon on it, then it's basically just a funky-looking pipe.

can anyone tell me how much water you put in a sidecar bubbler?

test it yourself. all bubblers are different. try different water heights
