ok, I'm thinking about growing maby 1000 lowrider's early spring. Since the choppers don't come until early august I will have plenty of time to grow and harvest without any worries of the sky, correct? Im thinking since the lowrider strain has a high female ratio I will end up with 750 females. With an average of 1/2 ounce per plant that is 375 ounces about 23 lbs. Does this sound like a legit plan? Also are there any outher auto-flowering strains out there?

k man i like your thinking.. very much i like your thinking.. but!! ive seen a problem in your plan, now i looked up how much lowrider seeds are 35.00 british dollars each.. which in american dollars is $66.32 so in a pack yo get 10 seeds .. 10 x 100 = 1000 (the number you want) now 66.32 x 100 = $6632.00 so im thinkin THATS A CRAPLOAD TO SPEND ON SEEDS!!.. maybe you should just do a seed crop first? and let the males fully polinate your girls... i guess you do get a bit of smokable bud and a lot of seeds.. anyways man not trying to cut holes in your plan, but yeah good luck with it bro keep us posted .... oh btw if my maths wrong... lol nevermind !!

OMG. Here's my advice:

1. Don't count on no choppers. They could surprise you.

2. Choppers isn't all you have to worry about. Hikers, hunters, and pot prospectors (yes, there are a-holes who just go out looking for other peoples' grows). So break up your big grow into a whole bunch of little hidden grows.

3. Trying to plant in advance for yield per plant is not the most scientific idea.... You could get way more, way less, it depends on your skill and location, and whether you get ripped off.

4. Lots of plants to tend alone. I've got between 150 and 200 indoor and spend a half hour a day plus a couple hours at least on the weekend tending them. Yes, indoors is more work, but you have a HUGE amount of work anyway ahead of you with the sheer # of plants.

5. Pick sites that you can park a car or boat nearby and it won't look suspicious. Taking down all those plants, covering your tracks, and not being seen is going to be twitchy.

6. Mostly female? Hm.. never heard that about lowryder. MAybe you could buy fem seeds, but even then... herms, yuck.

I don't mean to sound discouraging, but someone who posts on a board that they intend to grow 1000 plants sounds like maybe you've never grown before and are trying to make a quick buck. But you have to remember the penalty for getting caught with all those plants, or the financial loss from buying seeds when someone finds your crop.

Best of luck...

Dude 1000 lowryders is not gonna work. I dont event think dr.chronic has that many seeds lol. but hey nice way to look at growing i would buy like 2 packs of lowryder and let them seed up real nice.

within your plan i've devised a plan i'd like to execute one day before i die.

and my plan is. getting a small greenhouse. and planting on shelves or something. inside the greenhouse.

however i also would buy one pack of seeds. and do a seed crop.

and then one day i'd like to make a lowryder cross. or maybe a bunch.

idk but i'm not thinking about that right now.

just be careful if you intend to do it.

plant a bunch scattered in a meadow in the middle of nowhere.

or in your garden. they stay low. but its your ass if you get caught with a thousand man.

so dont be stupid!

Last year I grew about 200 of them. Alot of work weeding them, trimming the buds. Got about 2 lbs of buds. They looked not too bad growing, buds were loose though, when dried. Tried giving the stuff away and nobody wanted it. Ended up throwing it all out. I grew a few this year also. A novelty. Cute buds on a stick. They finished budding a couple of weeks ago. I ripped them out and threw them away. No shit, if your hard up for smoke, they would do in a pinch. Otherwise, I would be too embarassed to pass a joint to a friend. Only reason I keep growing a few, is to try crossing with something good, to get them to flower earlier. Nothing good yet....Lowryder/Guerrilla Gold in seed now. Not trying to discourage growing Lowryder, I enjoyed the experience, but if your thinking of cashing in on them....well, you'll find out.
