Harvest or Not?? Confused

Sorry I have no pic. But one of my plants ( from bag seed, growing outdoors ) hairs are over 70% amber, yet the trics look to me as if they are still clear, so I do not know what to go by....Should I chop here??? ( and this is my first grow, a newbie gal over here :p )

go by the trichomes, pistils change color usually when trichomes get milky, but it is just a coincidence.
