The average height for males in the usa is 5'9" (175.5 cm) and for females 5'3" (162.6 cm). What do you consider short/tall though?

I'm between 5'6" and 5'7" but I always feel short. I think for males anything under 5'8" is short and over 6' is tall. For women I guess under 5'2" is short and over 5'8" is tall.

(btw for those who don't use the jacked up american system ' = foot and " = inches... 12 inches to a foot... 2.54 cm to an inch)

I'm 6ft 3inches and I have been since I was 16.

For guys, I consider anything under 5ft8 is short.

Average height for females I consider short. :p I don't mind shorter girls, but a foot shorter than me is quite a difference.

idk, anyone 5 6 and lower i think are a little on the short side, tall would be around 6 foot, average i agree is 5 9, im 5 10-5 11 and growing

Yeah I saw that on sportscenter last night. They said he's taller and wears a bigger shoe than Shaq did at his age. I love tall guys, but 6'8" is like freakishly tall. Gotta be hard trying to date and being that big.
