GOT BUSTED NEED ADVISE?!

Hey, Im 23 and live in michigan. Me and my buddy were smokin in his car at my condo complex and got busted by cops. to make a long story short ive never been in trouble other than a few tickets (traffic) when i was 18. i was written up for Loitering where drugs were used/kept. I got to go to court in 14 days. What do u think is going to happen??? should i get a lawyer, is it just going to be a fine and probation?? if it matters this is my friends second times geting in trouble 2 years ago.

The US is so tight wit weed... here in canada.. there so layed bak.. ive got caught and all they do is take it away, i dun care better than gettin a fine... if u have more than an ounce here.. than u gotta go to court.. anything less is jus a ticket.. most copz jus take it away... check it out.. u can also have 1-3 plants growing... and if they catch u .. all u get is a fine lol dun even needa go to court.. no criminal record.. jus a ticket lol..

get a lawyer (a good and recommended one), that's the best advice i can give

If it's your first offense, they will go easy on you most likely unless they caught you with a lot of smoke.

Let me put it this way: I was caught with a substance much, much, much, much more frowned upon than cannabis. First offense. They gave me a plea bargain of three weeks house arrest and three years probation.

Now that my probation is done, if I pay some money they will expunge all records of it ever happening. :smokin:

Yes, I would recommend getting a lawyer. Sometimes, it's just a good thing to have someone like that to help guide you through all the legal jargon and such so that you get the least sentance. Like, I had a great lawyer, and when i got arrested and such, he essentially talke to the judge and after i completed a class, they took the possesion charges off my record. One can't really ask for anything better than that, you know?

i see rehab in your future which you are going to have to pay for. when you see the statistic from the government static that there are more people than ever in rehab for pot use than ever,you will be one of those numbers...oh and their going to tell you that if you take their plea bargain and go into rehab that it won't go on your record........BULLSHIT.

Seriously, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it's your first offense not much will happen.
