hot knives / scissors?

I've never hot knifed, but after reading about it I thought of an easier / safer method. Instead of two knives why not just use a pait of scissors?

Has anyone done this before? Seems like an effective method for not burning yourself; and, it would eliminate juggling two knifes and a cup.

Not sure if it would work, but someone should try it and give us some feedback! I'm dry so I can't really test it..

for effective hotkniving you need 2 people. 1 to hold the knives while the other uses a bottle with no bottom to get all the smoke.

u can hotknife without a bottle but its much easier with one

if only humans had 4 arms!!

Yeah, 2 people. Last harvest I kept having breaks with my associate to bake. We used a bbq skewer and heated it with a blow torch. I rolled tiny balls of fresh resin off my trimming tool and put one on the red hot tip of the skewer with a needle, then used a plastic cup with a hole in the bottom to cup over the cloud of smoke. You could do it on ur own if you can figure out how ur goin to do it.

It takes you people 4 hands to do blades? When we do them, we serve ourselves, and my friends use no hooter all the time. I use an ice hooter, but they do it themselves. How is that complicated? :p J/K

How would you use snips to burn it? You put the herb/hash on the one blade, close the sciccor blade, and it would just push the burning herb off.

Using 2 knives is not that hard. Good greif.

Haha, as I said I posted this before even trying just plain old blades.

Just throwing out some ideas. Gotta' keep things fresh, right?

I just got done taken a knifie by myself. Just held the 2 liter o cola with my mouth and let the smoke get all milky then i inhaled. They were my roomates nice nives.

the idea is you squash the dope with two hot knifes, not close a pair of scissors pushing all the dope on the floor.
