My girls, 25 days into flower

heres a few pictures from a few weeks ago i think it was maybe the 2nd week of flower......i ended up loosing the camera cord so i had to get a new one. They look a little droppy, i was having some bloom fert problems...like an idiot i assumed there were 4 teaspoons in a tablespoon and i used full strength so i overferted but i flushed and have my shit on wraps. Soil grow, at first i grew outside on my deck for about a month until the plants got distinguishable. I brought them inside and used 1 70w hps. After i started flowering them i i bought another 70w and a cab. Lemme know how it looks.

these are the just taken pictures of the cab and the 3 girls........i accidentally killed one of the girls trying to train it with string. Ill never make that mistake again, but it kind of ended out working good cause the cab only has room for 3....anyways, lemme konw how things look

yes looking good man .. but what about the temps in that cab? you got any ventilation at all? but other then that they look very nice!

currently there isnt much vent in the cab. Of course im too lazy to get a thermometer, so i kinda test with the hand. When the light it gets a little hot so i crack the door a little and have a room fan on right at the door.....in an AC room @ about 70. Im getting 2 compy fans to intake and out take. I plan to put the intake at the base of the cab and the outttake at the top. Heat does rise so you gotta compensate for that shit. I still have to paint the fake wood grain flat white but well see how soon. This is all experimental and its lookin good so far so well see. Im getting seeds sometime soon from some site, havent decided but im feeling ak48 and ww from drchron. For a small grower, some heady shit seems like a good deal. Im still sketch on the whole delivery system but its a given, as someone says paranoia is the couzin of somethign. Anyways, thanks for the critisizm. have a great night, pce

yeah well it sounds like you have everything very well planned... thats exactly what i did .. i experimented with bagseed and then bought some really good seeds... i picked up sum ice, chrystal, silver pearl, and some sweet tooth.. best of luck to you and your ladies man!

thanks for the comments guys. This is my first successful indoor grow. I tried once when i still lived with my parents but scratched the whole deal once i learned of the shit my parental units could get into because of my stupidity. I have grown outside for the past 2 years and have gotten some great results, especially 2 years ago when i magically got WW seeds from a good friend of mine. Funny thing was the seeds actually turned out to be heady heady nugs.

Yeah the cab still has a lot of work to be done. I just bought it so wasnt wasting light in my closet which was double the length then i was using, plus my clothes started smelling like sweet cheeba without me even smoking anything. That had to stop for sure. After this grow is completed (early-mid sept) i am going to work on the cab.

Silicon caulk every seam
flat white paint
install florescant tubes in the top part for vegging
install intake/outtake fans
get my DWC setup working again, install that into the cab
get a scrog screen in there for max yeild

I figure soon I am going to order some good seeds, but im not too sure which ones are good. I dont need anything totally failsafe, ive grown plants before and can figure shit out if anythign goes wrong. I was looking on drchronic and drgreenthumb and i see a lot of good seeds. I didnt really know which seedbank was the best though.....kinda liked dutch passion.

The two seed strains i chose were ak48 and white widow. I like crystals, heh.



Oh yeah ive been meaning to ask this. I know 140w of hps might be a little low but i bought them and im going to use them even if i get a 250w somewhere. My first question is.......is there any difference in how much light is being directed downward when the bulb itself is vertical or horizontal? My second question is this...........would it be safe to take apart the hps ballasts, and mount both lights electronics into a consolidated box of some kind. I only say this because the ballasts for those security lights are massive. I wanna engineer my own ballast and reflector and maybe get a mh bulb.

140 hps, 250 mh ........... good enough light for veg/flower?

hey quick questions. The lower leaves on my plant are dying off, getting really yellow and thin, im assuming its just cause they dont get enough light......as the new growth tips are looking good.

How do you get rid of fruit flys. One of my plants has an infestation of them, i scratched the dirt and like 10 came up.
