Rules on Lockbox

If I had say just a cash lockbox or whatever in my dorm room and my RA came in, he can't make me open it w/o a warrant right since it's locked?

he can open it if he gets permission from the university.

Its on their Property, all he has to do is get Permission from the University, or probably not any at all, it all depends on the University and their rules.
