I went to the cinema yesterday to see Nacho Libre and it was bad. Really bad. Every other film I've seen with Jack Black in, I loved, but this one... ughhh not good.
So what films have you seen lately?

the last 3 movies i have seen are miami vice, talladega nights, and the descent
i really liked miami vice (really cool cinematography)
i thought talladega nights was funny but it was just your typical will ferrell (nothing new)
and the descent was really really creepy (horror movie)

Just watched Inside Man (pretty good), The Descent (decent horror, although not very believable, cave zombies?), and 16 Blocks (pretty good).

Last movie I saw was a french movie dubbed into English which would translate into "District 13."
I highly suggest people to see it. It's about this district that is so ghetto and violent that a wall was built around the entire area. The main character steals a shitload of cocaine from the big drug lord in the district and dumps them. Tell you more would give the plot away. One of the best movies I seen in a long time. Really cool action scenes weaving through poles and barriers in constant motion, and jumping from building to building.

Last film is saw was Reykjavik 101 really good film about a fucked up guy from iceland. Quite a twisted film. The other film I saw recently was Lost in Translation really liked it think Sophie Copola is an amazing director. Like the 4:20 reference in it as well, he gets a fax at 4:20 in the morning.

Inside Man, God that movie is so clever and good. Anyone that likes to think deeply or try to figure out something or enjoy a little bit of action I suggest you go see that movie.

Anyone who wants something WITHOUT the HollyWood treatment, I recommened a film called 'Chopper' based on the real life story of Mark Brandon 'Chopper' Read, Notorious Australian Criminal and best selling author. Its one of my all time favorites, the guy is my fucking idol.

It's hard not to go to the movies alot when it's $12 per person to see 3 movies at the drive-in. So this summer I have seen Cars, Clerks II, Little Man, Monster House, Pirates 2, Pulse, Silent Hill, Superman Returns, Talladega Nights, The Break Up, You Me and Depree, plus more but I can't remember them or they aren't worth mentioning ;)

I recommend you all to watch Equilibrium. Its about a utopian society gone wrong. Because stories based on dysfunctional utopian really intrigue me... that means you should all watch it too! because i said so.
Starring sexy Christian Bale
