makes weed 10 million times more potential. Make sure to replace the soil with marijuana leaves, gives it special powers.
Theres no effect

a normal answer would have been fine thanks
Why not? Plants like people being around, and they like it when people talk to them. Theorists theorise that it's something to do with either:
1. We generate carbon dioxide and use up oxygen when we breathe, and plants photosynthesising do the reverse. This causes a mutually beneficial concentration gradient.
2. Brainwaves.
3. Plants are sociable organisms, and, despite it being a little cannibalistic, like people being around and having a smoke with them.

i cant see it doing the plants any good, so avoid if you can.
im somtimes smoking whilst attending to my plants, but its only for a min or two, dosemt seem to have had any bad effect but i wouldnt recomend sitting next to your plants puffing away for any legnth of time.
the way i see it is, why do somthing potentially harmfull thats so easily avoided.
most of the make up of smoke contains nothing usefull, so you would just be pollouting or displacing anything beneficial in the air

Yes but plants use CO2(and some oxygen with their roots). Anyway yeah like said above it just allows less CO2 in the air.

When you burn stuff the by prodect is co2

When you smoke around your plants, the smoke can cause the Stomata to close. The plant will not transpire propley and that will stunt the growth.
Justin - It's the blue flame that makes the usable CO² not a burn process when you burn anything there are other by-products that are bad for the plant that may be mixed with the CO². The whole idea of using CO² is raising the level above 1500ppm and hold it there for hours so the plants can asorb the extra amount.

I'm new to growing, well sorta, will be my third harvest coming up. However I was told that some of the chemicals in most smoke, anything tobacco/papers, could clog porres on your plant.

That, plus you can start to clog up other stuff...
Like the filters in your air pumps...
Like making your fans' blades stickier.... thus dirtier...
Don't.

Most people that know what there talking about don't recommend it, especially cigarettes/ tobacco, it clogs plant stomatas makes them less vigorous, etc. But myself can't be hanging out in my room without firing up a big old spliff! Doesn't effect em to much, after all having a great air circulation will move that all out in a few minutes.

I doubt there's any noticeable effect on the plants unless you're just creating constant clouds of smoke. I don't worry about it, personally. If the plants come marching out of the cabinet looking angry with signs protesting my smoking, I might reconsider. Otherwise, fuck 'em, I'm gonna chop their heads off and burn 'em later anyway. ;)
