advice for a beginner deciding to go hydro? or natural?

Hello all,
I am trying to decide if I need to go hydro as a beginner, or can be cheap and light up my closet? Also, any advice from peeps who can warn a beginner about growing mistakes would be appericated as well.

for a begginer soil would be easier, and you might mess up so i wouldnt put a large investment in growroom suplies untill your gut at this.

Hydro is not a mystery and the minimal costs far outweigh growing in soil. You will from seed to bud and harvest a like quicker with markedly better results.
Cannabis.com has a great section on hydro (I wrote it) and there are lots of free downloads.

if you do hydro right then you dont have to pay attention to your weed for weeks. just sit back and watch it grow.
