Seedling troubles

Hello... this being my first post and first plant i seem to have a few concerns/questions.

Yes i have read the FAQ, and dozens of other posts looking for my problem, but however every problem is unqiue in its own way.

anyways i was woundring if anyone here might have an idea of whats wrong (if anyhting)

Ok so i got some bagseed (3 seeds) 1 sprouted.

The first problem was i belive streching i didnt know the correct light so i was just using a normal House light the seedling streched to about 3-4 inches while only having 1 pair of True leaves and stayed light this growing very little in leaves and plenty in stem. Well i solved this problem with a Floresecnt light(27 watts = 100W) witch is about 3 inches away from the plant ATM... My main concern is my plant is probly on day 13-15 right now with only 2 sets of small leaves and kinda streched out it seems to be very small for a plant thats 15 days old(however i just got the florecent on it today)

i was woundring if its possible just to get a bunk seed that somtimes just wont grow or if my main problem was the lighting... or possibly somthing else?

lol day 15? and only 2 sets of leaves?...if its stretching then put more lights in, what kinda space is it in?

well right now you kinda see the 3rd set of leaves just berly... its in a closet with a 100w florecent right now... about a 4-5 inch deep pot.

plant is growing like that cuz its not getting enuff light and its searching for more . those compact floros will do but u need more than one of them . for every square foot of floor space u need at least 40 watts of light to grow any type of bud . light is the one thing u need plenty off. ur plantthat has grew so tall will be fine if u bet light onto and place a small desktop fan near itand let it blow back and forth over the top of it . it hasn't grown leaves cuz its spent its time growing stem looking for light. weed will grow anywhere as long as it get close to the ideal conditions, the better the conditions ie> light ,soil, food and temp, the better the weed. u want to put the bulb u have about an inch away from the top of ur plant. floros will burn ut plant but only if they are touching the bulb for a period of time

Why do you even bother? With just one seed and your current setup, chances are it's gonna be male... Buy a book, read up in the forums, get decent equipment and start anew - then you can have some fun instead of just hassle...

who cares if its male...its the experience and the knowlege u get from it will help u in the future...my first grow i started with only 3 plants...only 1 actually lived...but i learned alot from it so it was worth it...

u want 50 watts per square foot...how big is the space ur growing it in?

i grow in a 4 foot by 4 foot space . i have 2 X 600 watt dual spectrum hps .

Yes really im just doing this for the experince... this is kinda like a test so i dont make the same mistakes when i buy some $50 seeds and kill them all.

anyways i got my Florecent about 3 days ago since then my plant has gone from 2 sets of leaves(the second set being very hard to see) to now 4 sets of leaves i see this nice progress since by day 15 i only had 2 and 3 days later i have 4.

anyways im kinda getting another problem the leaves (especally the first set) are starting to lose their green color and becoming brownish... the leaf is still living its just got a brown hint to it... definatly not the vibrant green it once was.

No i havent been giving them nutes, the only thing i can think of is the soil... i got it outside from a pot seemed like Ok soil, to sterilize it i put it in the microwave for a couple miniutes. So im thinking the PH could be doing this? any other thoughts? im watering with distilled water once ever couple days. so i dont think im over watering.

u will need to definetly feed it, u cant just let it be and think it will grow into nice bud, i bring my plant in every day to check for spider mites or any problems, its outside u see, the soil i have mine in is shit hot, i dunno the name, my bro started growing it for me it had a months feed in it, ive learnt alot from this forum, im only currently growing the one plant and 1 cutting but thanx to all these guys here, i can experiment now, try new things, my plant is as healthy as can be, few holes from pests thats it, i use normal tap water too, water it till it drips out the bottom, then its had enuff, when it rains i leave it, bring it indoors when the weather gets bad like it has been here in the uk for the past few days, windy and cold as hell, yesterday was sunny most the day :D but feed it man!! u will see the difference, i started feeding mine miracle grow all purpose plant food 15-30-15, its starting to rocket, try grow outside if u can with the sun, alot better :D FEED IT! AND GIVE IT SUM TLC!!! or dont grow, treat it like u treat your pet :D

well i read its important not to feed ur plant for atleast the first 3 weeks... mines not that old yet... and for its age its really small.
