I'm just trying to see who else out there has moved far away from everything you know and how you handled it. I've lived in louisiana for my entire life, and i decided to follow my girlfriend, who was moving with her family up to idaho. I was fuckign up in colloege back home, getting into trouble, and starting to do too many bad drugs, ie coke, x that shit. Anyway Its been abou t2 months now and I've been completely sober, I even quit smokin cigarettes cold turkey. I just felt like i needed to think abou tthings with a clear mind for a while, and now that i have I've decided that smoking weed is fine and its something im going to continue doing jsut in moderation. no more smoking before work or school or everynight, just weekends and when im stressed durning the week. I've also found it hard to meet people up here. my roomates are nice, but they are mormon and their friends are kindof strange, we just arent the same types of people. anyway how did yall start your lives out. meet people, (FIND WEED CONNECTIONS) and that kind of stuff. I just wanted to hear feed back from someone cause im getting kind of lonely here.

Moved from New Jersey to Texas in Feburary. However, I'm originally from Alabama so the move was more like a HomeComing for me.

Ive traveled all over the states and other countries as well.
Idaho is a beautiful place depending on what part.
I used to live in Sun Valley, the ski resort, Ketchum, Buhl, Twin falls and Pocatello. The Northern part of the state is nice.
I remember living in Sun Valley and snow drifts that reached the eaves of the house at times and the second car we had could not be seen until late winter/early spring. lol. It stayed burried under snow.
You will find lots of Mormons in those parts, I am not one myself. But unfortunately in some of those communities it is hard to get a job if you dont fit into those religious clicks as most the businesses are owned by Mormons in some parts. Depends.
Finding weed in Idaho? hmm. Might be kinda tough. Washington state is far more liberal with it. Might try a website called wherebetheweed.com for info of where to go.
Have a good one.

yeah i hope i dont have to end up driving to washington or oregon, which really arent that far awaY TO get weed. bu ti really wouldnt mind doing it if i knew where to go. I'm just scared im going to drive all the way over there and end up not finding any pot. Some guy was saying there was a drought in portland and that it was hard to get weed this summer. I'm just having my friend back home mail me an 1/8th. I can honestly say and this is pathetic, that talking on these boards are keeping me from going insane. I'm miss shooting the shit about drugs and bullshit with my friends and this place has kind of taken that role.

Give it a look anyway.

moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina when I was 9, then moved to Florida a year later. After five years in Florida I moved to California. After a year in California I moved to Illinois. Two years after hat we moved back to California. Then, when I was 26 I moved to Shanghai China for a bit over a year. Then back to Cali where I've been ever since.
I started smoking when we were in Florida but never had any trouble finding hook-ups when we moved. Even in China I was able to find some hash. I looked like the stereotypical stoner/hippie/Deadhead so hook-ups pretty much found me. The biggest difference I found moving around was in the quality and price of weed. Florida was pretty good and pretty cheap. Illinois was cheap but getting anything better than mids was a miracle. Cali had the best but the most expensive.
