I'm quitting. All my papers and my bong are packed up and ready to be thrown out. I just can't afford to do this anymore. I love marijuana so much, it's probably th most enjoyable thing I have ever done, but it has its effects. It made me careless and I lost my job, I stopped going to the gym as often as I used to and I don't do my homework as much as I should (though I doubt that'll change since it's always been like that). Lastly I'm afraid it may have changed the way some people can look at me and I realized that it's not worth it for the people who I do hang out and smoke up with.

I have to say I'm in a similar boat. I've gotten to the point where I have become somewhat lethargic. Compared to a year ago, I now do a lot less of anything involving work, such as simple chores, or working out, or even just going out. Just because I don't feel like it, because I get high too often. Before, those kinds of things were never a problem or a second thought for me... And no, I'm not lazy at heart, which is why I don't agree with what Bogart says.
But it's so easy for me to get hooked up, and I love smoking. Probably too much. Although I don't think it's gotten bad enough for me to toss it, I know where IntrepidS is coming from. I've been working on cutting back... The pace is slow, but it's better than no pace at all,... or regression.
Best of luck to you, bro. Good to hear your putting your life in front of your entertainment.

I've known a few dudes that talk like intrepid, but luckily for myself I am in control of my habits. Once you get your shit straight feel free to blaze again, just remember that you control the habit. Don't let it run your life like it must have been doing. I feel for ya man.

Well I figure this about weed: do it if you can control it. I can't, but hopefully sometime in the not too far future I will be able to reach a point where its usage is controllable. Until then I figure I should calm down for a while. I mean jeez, I've smoked every day for the past 2 weeks (not today tho), and only back in March I told my friend "that's really bad!" when he told me that he has a fruend who smokes pot every day/

I guess I know how you feel too. Luckily, I find the willpower to lay off for about 3 days a week, and that usually helps keep things in perspective. Like Bro DZ said, you gotta keep control, and sometimes quitting for a little while is the best wy to do it. Best of luck man.
