I just got a new connection about 1 month ago and the counts are a little low...It's kick ass bud but each time I go to see him it seems like the count is lower...I don't want to lose this connection but how should I tell him in a cool way...I'm not going to weigh it in front of him...any suggestions on what I can say - in a cool way?! Why can't they just legalize it!!!!!

Just politely mention that you think that they're scales are off. Next time you get hooked up, bring your own scaled and ask if they'll use yours. I dunno.. good luck with that.

Tact was never my skill...I'm more direct and would firmly let them know it's short. If they have a problem, they can speak with 'Nina' or 'Dr. JamesHP'...

Maybe b/c I'm a big guy people get intimidated, but I've never had to deal with this kind of situation.

I would just say that i realise times may be tough. I want to remain a good customer so if i can help by paying more just charge me more and let's be fair and honorable to one another. Cool?

That's the way i would put it. I wound not necessarily pay more, but the statement would be there to put the person at ease and extinguish any fires before they start. You have to stear discussions in the way so as to not allow any negative thinking to set in on the recipients side. It's a game of compensating for the other persons preception of what and how you're saying what you're saying. So don't accuse and make like it's an honest mistake.

Hope i made sense.

Dont say anything about paying more. Then youre just gonna get more ripped off but you will be paying more. When you get there, tell him you got some new scales and you want to try them out. Whip em out, put on table and weigh. Then be all like, hmmm, mine isnt saying its whatever its supposed to be.

Saying the thing about paying more is just a mind game.
