It was my first try at growing, I had no equipment, no experience, etc...

I posted about a few of the seeds being taken out by worms... Now it's been 15 days since I planted and not a single sprout.... I give up on growing.. I wish luck to everyone else, and hope that the poor souls of my seeds may help yours to grow.

well, cheer up, you learn with each grow ... read the Grow FAQs, and do some research (especially recommend ANY grow books by either Mel Frank or Ed Rosenthal, available online from Amazon.com) ... research would have made it clear to purchase quality potting soil, which would have eliminated your chances of getting 'worms' (I have to admit, the 'worms' thing was the first case I ever heard of) ... just read a good basic growing manual, and do what it says, don't cut corners, and be aware there are plenty of posts in this forum, as well as every forum on the internet, that are just plain WRONG ... plenty of inexperienced bullshitters just repeating some myth they have read, or overheard ... use common sense :smokin:

I also tried growing a few times but never got past the seedling stage and I was very impatient. But now I learn something new every time I come to this site and I have a nice little plant growing. If you want to see a grow journal from a real beginner like me, check it out here. http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=75823 It's a learn-as-I-grow journal, so other newbies can follow it too and get ideas.

btw, did you start your seeds by germinating them? That way you can see which ones sprout before you plant them.

i've been growing for decades and sometimes shit happens...lost last winter's grow to a series of fuck ups and not paying attention, as an example and this summer's grow will be a short one due to outsider circumstances. shit happens to us all at all levels of experience and all it means is, "plant more seeds...".

Thanks for the inspiration guys... I'm moving into a new apartment soon, I'll give it another shot there and see what happens. I'll read up first too
