dolimite lime question.

I bought some lime tonight for my plants in 8" pots as the ph is off and you can see pics in my other post... My question is how much do I use and I guess I just spinkle it atop the soil?? thanks...

I was told to use 1-2 tbsp per gal of soil I believe. I have to add it to my soil in 4 days as well. You just sprinkle it on top of soil, then flush your plant(s).
