Well, all those pretty plants are missing as of today....some asshole broke a window and helped themselves. Seriously, stealing plants has got to be the dumbest thing ever, you know they weren't planning on continuing growing them, they probably tried to smoke them as is....That's like stealing hops and yeast when you go on a beer run. The night before it happened, some asshole just opened the closet looking for something and found something else...right in front of this shady ass friend of his. They were both supposedly leaving the next morning for somewhere, and then miraculously the next day all that shit is gone. 1 decent size, 1 small, and 2 seedlings and one little bong gone. Fucking tweakers.

it, it looks like a negative. But I think those are spurs they
grow on all cannabis plants male or female. Here is a
pic of mine that I know are not flowering yet because they
are still on 18/6. If that is what you are talking about no
those are not preflowers. This pic isn't the best but I only
have a shitty web cam hope you can see what im talking
about.

Seriously, if I broke into a house and seen plants like those I wouldnt even waste my time unless I could continue the grow. At the most I'd take some growth tips from it and try to make it survive in a jar of water and hope it grows roots when I got it home to plant it lol!

Nah, they're not those green things that grow out the sides of the nodes, but in the crotch of the nodes and they're llittle things that have two whitish-clear hairs sticking out. I know what you're talking about though, I've seen those too, these are different. Or they were anyway...fuckin thieves.

His dad knows a welder who will hook him up on bars and he does like the whole security thing and has a 4 camera system with recorder new in box for only like $295. His dad is just sick of people breaking in and stealing stuff, like on 3 seperate occasions now. So far he's lost an xbox 360, his dad's laptop he was borrowing for school, and a psp. It's kinda rediculous, lots of shit for a year.

Well, its not exactly a box so much as a closet lined with panda plastic using a bunch of staples and duct tape, with a zipper entrance. Pretty easy construction for the most part. But that room is too small for that new 1000 watt cool tube with a hortilux bulb....:dance:

Lol, its not a box. We just took his closet that was already in the wall & lined it with panda plastic, and stretched a piece in between the doors & put one of those tarp zippers on it. I'm retarded though, and fucked the zipper up so it's not light and kinda glows lol, but all together just simply lining the pre-existing closet with that plastic and the zipper was like 40 bucks total.

We went to a shop that had the plastic on a roll and sold it for $1.50 a foot which is actually 10 square feet cause it un-folds 10 feet wide, so we only had to buy like 15 or 18 feet which was like 150-180 square feet. And just simply used a staple gun to tack it up and covered the seams with duct tape. And the zipper is badass, you just stick it on to the plastic and then open it and follow the metal part with a razor blade and cut it as long as you need it to open. :)

Lol i forgot to say "no i didn't get that box" i can see how that was confusing. But I think the closet lining thing is pretty easy and probably cheaper, if you don't mind fucking up the ceiling for ventilation. We just cut two holes using a keyhole saw and then just ran ducting in with a ghetto intake fan (ducting just patched into the regular ac duct and then taped to the back of a regular fan lol) and passive exhaust.

Since we are using CFL's in that room it has plenty of air exchange and stays a perfect temperature and decent humidity, usually from like 72-77 degrees F & about 40-60 percent humidity. We have a thermometer/hygrometer from radio shack (only like 17 bucks) that has a remote sensor (can have up to 3) and you can monitor temp & humidity from up to 100 feet away (through walls.) The CFL's were just suspended from hooks on the ceiling by some cheap ass chains from lowes. We used some of those plug-in shop lights that cost 8 bucks (300 watt fixture) and 42 watt cfls (2700 lumens 4100k & 6700k, mixed), More pics: *check out the cfl pic first post & sadly all those plants pictured are the ones that were stolen*

(I'm pretty sure it happened during the time it was outside, same time those sexy pre-flowers formed) And damn look at how many tops that big one has, it was topped and we just started tying it using zip-ties because they are really easy to adjust as you need them and to make it bigger you just cut one and add a new one in the chain :)

Must blow to have shit stolen. I live in hickville now, but in Cali, I had people stealing anything. It sucked. Anyways, I notice you are using Fox farm grow big and bloom, but what is that bucket underneath? And I forget, why neem oil? Your setup looks perfect. Zipper effect is excellent.

That bucket is bat guano, just another organic fertilizer we mixed in with our soil for the outdoor ones before we got that fox farm system. We only have grow big & big bloom right now, but we'll get the rest of the system as needed according to that chart. The neem oil is just to keep the spider mites and other unwanted things at bay, you mix it with water and a little mild detergent (wetting agent) and then spray it on the leaves once a month or so. And the bucket was full of water just set in the room to increase ambient humidity.

But yeah, the zippers are badass, they just stick on and only cost like 12 bucks for a 7 foot zipper you can cut to size if you need. And this is kinda in hickville too which actually makes it easier for shit to get stolen cause no neighbors around to hear windows breaking...damn people are worthless.

I guess those damned seeds are never going to get here, so it looks like time to break out the bag seed I've saved. Lots of friends have kept like the 2 or 3 seeds they'd find in some good bud from time to time and I've been taking a collection lol. So hopefully we'll get some crazy random phenos and maybe a few that don't suck. Btw, those plants pictured were all from bag seed, that big one from a batch of Blueberry homegrown....which pisses me off all over again cause those seeds are gone :(

Nah, none of those plants are still here. Those are the ones that got stolen. And no, we hadn't been flowering, that big one had just been outside for awhile and started flowering while it was out there. It had been under 24 hour CFL lighting for about 2 weeks at the time of that pic, and had swolen up so huge in that time compared to how big it had been. And it had just been topped two more times in that pic because we were planning on letting the small ones catch up before flowering and having just one beast of a plant and a few small trees.

Oh, and the fucking seeds we ordered at the end of july(Nirvana Seeds's White Rhino & AK-48) never came in, so we're probably just gonna start up some more bag seed. Thats what those plants were and they were kicking ass. Big one was from some blueberry that we only got like 5 seeds from and 4 died before that big ass one was stolen. The big one had been topped wayyyyyyyyyyyy to early because my friend didn't know much about growing when he started and topped it at like 4 inches. That stunted the growth a lot for awhile and it was probably started in about beginning of june and that pic was the middle of august so it was about 2.5 months old at that time, probably gonna be a good 4 months old before we would have flowered it. If you look in the pic from the bottom you can see where the stalk made a V really low down but then it grew another top back out of the place it had been cut so i think it may have been accidentally FIM'ed. But yeah, GK i'll keep you posted.

So you ordered those seeds not even 30days ago? You need to have more patience. You're not the only one ordering seeds, so there are other people ahead of you, plus mail orders are slower than hell. Especially if you sent them an order my snail mail. If you sent them an order by snail mail, they probably just got it, and it takes a few days to process your order as there are other people ordering.

Well, they were shipped out on the 8th according to the e-mail I got, and they haven't made it yet is why I think might not make it, cause it only took a week for the money order to get to them when I sent it, I figured mailing times would be somewhat similar. Today makes 15 days since the seeds were mailed out, does it usually take that long?

Heh, I'll find a few more this weekend. Looking good so far, the only problem is we didn't get the lid for the rapid rooter tray when we bought it so we have to water it all the time, humidity in the room stays at like 50-60% though so it should be alright. So many random genetics in one little tray...the coolest has to be from the "og kush x black widow" that we got. It was strange bud, really fluffy and leafy, really really dark green with bright orange hairs. Pretty dank. The little shake leaves I would mistake for ash on the rolling tray usually cause it was so dark. Those six or seven seedlings are doing the best so far too, I just hope the bud doesn't turn out as loose. Also, since the bud we got was supposedly "og x bw" then I guess that makes the seeds "OGxBW x ?".

The flowering room will be built soon, the only thing really left to buy is a badass exhaust fan. We have a 1000 watt hps cool tube, and I was wondering if it would work to just have one end of the tube open to the room and a fan on the other side sucking across the light and then out of the room. And any idea how big of a fan would be needed for both light cooling/exhausting the room or would we just be better off with two fans that are a little smaller (one just for the light, one for exhaust) ?

Yeah it is. Glad they got popped. DO you already have an exhaust fan setup? what about fresh air coming in? And you should have fan(s) circulating the fresh air around and one on the light or use your cool tube.

In the veg room they're in now, we have an intake fan and just passive exhaust. We also have an oscilating fan circulating air. The wireless thermometer says it stays at a nice 73-77 degrees with humidity at 40-60%. The last plants were loving it. Check out pics of the room on the first page.

As far as the flowering room, we're getting a rather large inline fan or two. Hopefully just one that sucks air through the cool tube across the bulb and out of the room as the single source of ventilation plus a few oscilating fans inside and air conditioning as well. We might just get two smaller fans, one that sucks air in from outside, blows it across the light and back out, and then one that just sucks air out through a carbon filter. Any input?

Well, so my friend didn't have water for a couple days, and was too fuckin lazy to go to the store so several seedlings died and all the seedlings that survived are pretty roughed up, but might pull through. We might have to scrap this one and start AGAIN. We need that fucking lid for that tray so even if his stoner ass forgets to water they shouldn't dry out that fast. Oh well, shit happens.

And GK, they are almost a week and a half old now I guess, and they still look like they just sprouted, that "healthy two week old plant" thread you started forever ago makes me jealous. However, they do finally have fat ass roots, bout to transplant but gonna give it a few days to see which ones will pull through.
