I took eight cutting from my 3 girls and put them in rockwool and a liitle green house tray. They have been in there for about a week and there still look nice and green. I'm wandering how to tell when to plant them or put in my hydro system. I poped a couple out of the tray and I didn't see any roots growing out of the rockwool. But I asume that there are some roots there.

Thanks

How big is your rockwool? If its the smaller ones, you should wait until you see many roots growing from the bottom. If I were you, even if it was the bigger rockwool, I would wait until I see signs of nice clean roots so that the plant doesn't die :p . Good Luck man  ...

Carefully grasp the mainstem down by the rw cube and give a gentle tug. If there are roots started, you will feel a bit of resistance. If no roots are started, you will be able to pull the clone out of the rw easily. Its best to not do the "tug test" more than once a week or so. Tugging on them more often will disrupt the new roots from growing.

The rockwool is about 1 1/2 '' , but I guess I'll wait untill I see roots I'm just dying to start using my new hydro system I built.
