Slow down there...

YEs, movies are copyrighted.

You need a 'ripper' that can override the protection and 'rip' the video and sound. This will allow you to burn it to a DVD. There are all-in-one apps and othertimes, you have to buy a separate app to rip, then convert, then burn.

There are some hardware based DVD burners (don't require a computer) whose firmware can be altered to directly copy protected movies.

problem is DVD recorders will not burn a movie right out the box they were not made to do this on purpose you need software a mentioned above which will convert the files to do so and this can take a long ass time to burn a movie.

Not True. With the right setup, a complete rip and burn can be done within an hour

DVD Shrink will both rip it AND compress and then burn it to disc.Only thing you need besides the DVD shrink program is the Nero asp.dll file which DVD shrink uses for the burning part.
By the way Skink,LOVE that av!Is she free this Friday?I could use a lapdance.LOL

All of this is all the basics you need to get started. You will however run into issues with some movies. You'd be surprised how on-top of dvd pirating disny is. Seems like the hardest movies to rip are childrens movies.
