i started 6 plants under natural light on my deck about the end of may, brought them inside about the beginning of july cuase of their size.......started growing them under 1 70w light still in veg until the last week in july when i started flowering them. Its been 2 weeks flowering and 4 of them are female and getting really pistoly. My closet is about 3w x 2d x 6h. I just recently bought another 70 watt hps and i mounted them right next to eachother with a homemade reflector hung from a 2x4 hung from the ceiling.

Im no expert but i really feel that 70 watts would be enough with limited space. Its definatly better to go overkill with light then to short shoot it.....but i mean people grow plants with flourescants, its just another experiment.

You can grow a very very small plant with one of those lights.

Did I say a very small plant?

I have grown in various growboxes now for just over 4 years with a 70w HPS. I pull approximately one oz from my grows off of 2 plants. I'm redesigning my cabinet right now and currently do not have a grow going, but I'm working on it.

I'm just trying to figure out how to upload photos because I just found mine on a disk!

Found my pics and how to upload them. 70w HPS cabinet, which was my grow box for about 3 years and one of my plants at 56 days of flowering. Sorry for the crappy pics. They are kind of old. My last computer fried and died and I lost years of unbacked up pics.

CORRECTION:

You can grow two very small plants with one of those lights.

I stand corrected.

Nice little setup there....sweet indeed.

I like.

Is that the light From Home Depot Canada? With the motion sensor on the top? (If so was it hard to take out?)I have been thinking about getting this light. But I kinda want to see what my T5 Cfls will do before I go and Add some Hps.

As well I found a Place in the GTA (Missasuga, Onatrio) thats sells lights and ballest for fractions of the cost. www.lightland.ca So I was thinking of just getting one of those instead. Cuz you can get 150Hps for like 70 bucks But you then have to buy a socket and a cord to put it all together.

Home dpeot is more convienent but not if its a hassle to take that sensor out of the circut.

Do those 70watters get pretty hot? I thought compared to 70w's of CFL's they were pretty hot. Either way you are doing it, and a good job it seems like.
Grow on, adieu
