Growing for actual medical use ??

Hey, everyone i never knew this place existed and asked something simular a few month ago in the ie yahoo group but here goes

Basically my mother suffers from a degenerative muscle and joint (not the smoking type) desease that will get worse and end up in a wheel chair, its a very painful thing and the doctors had her on a massive dose of morphen for around 3 years nearly ... she was ment to be taken 90mils a day(i duno the exact dose or is mils even the right thing but it was 90 somethings) and she was only taken 50mils which was great, and she heard from a support group that smoking cannabis was a better pain killer so she asked me if i could get her some .. i do smoke on a regular basis so i first got her good hash and she tried it and it worked, best night sleep she had in about 5 years haha
So then got her some good grass and like a gram would last her about a week or two so not a heavy user just at night for pain relief and sleep and with one tiny joint at night she is down to 15mil a day which is amazing considering the docs have her on 90mil (she was spaced out of it on 90 haha)

Right so now my question .... do you think if i set up a grow with 2-3 plants, kept them small enough ... could i get in much trouble if i got raided because im sure i have an amazing case ... and all my contacts for grass have run dry i gave her my last 2grams there yesterday so im fecking completely out of it and on crappy soapbar (dont wanna use it but i will if i have to haha) and im going mental trying to find some green around dublin but think there is an actual drought for once and would just love to have a constant supply for her and me of course haha

First off,, sorry to hear about your mom's condition. . . .

It's good to hear that she can obtain great relief from smoking. . . .

If you dont have any previous drug convictions,, then absolutely nothing

would happen to you if you were to be caught. . . .

Just a "slap on the wrist" would be the extent of your punishment. . . .

So go for it,,, it's a great idea to help your mom like that. . . .

Yea ive absolutly no record at all with the cops , Ive just been lucky enough when i was in my teens to talk my way out of anything.

And after reading rastagal's post about being raided around christmas and getting away and with the shortage at the moment its just pushing me over the edge to think about actually setting up a grow, Ive done one or two small grows way back when in friends houses but only a fan and a hps .... now im looking at equipment and holy shit has it gotten advanced :) and hepa filters look so damn sweet

Has anyone else on this Irish forum been caught growing and what was the outcome? and how much was it that you were caught with?

Sorry bout your mom.Wish I could help but u know urself dodgy!I was caught just about to start a grow but because I had nothing germinating they couldn't do jack!They took my medicine alright but I got some more hehehe took a while but agota be patient and have good friends which I'm sure you have.Fuck the law unless you have problems with the hassele they giv you but If you keep it queit then there should be no probs.

Id keep it unbelievably low key and only ever have 2-3 plants on the go at any time and once harvested id probably shut everything down for another few months till i see the stash going low, like im guessing from 2-3 plants ud get about 5-6 ounces easily for a beginner, that would last her and me about a year haha... so i really cant see me getting caught doing it and even if i was, we would have the most unbelievable case that could nearly break the irish law on cannabis use :)

i got an email from some guy in the uk offering ... help :) but im really causious of anything like that so your dead right kongo, ive been reading this forum for a few weeks before posting and theres only 3-4 people that id trust on this forum and there all irish based.

How do you think your got raided? smell or tip off? i want to try figure out why so many people growing get raided at the most random of times and then make sure i dont make the same mistakes :) If you dont want to say the reasons why you got raided on the forum and dont mind saying then can you email me them.

Like the hassle from the cops would really bother me and i run a business from home which is totally above board and i wouldnt want being caught for growing to effect it at all cause ive put alot of years work into it.
