Found Mold on My Dry Weed

So, I found some gray mold on my dried weed. :( I know why it happened, and believe me, there was nothing I could do about it (never let someone else take care of something). Anyway, what should I do with it now? I found it on like 2 nugs out of 50 (just a little bit), but I don't want to smoke it.

Is it safe to make butter out of it? What else could I do with it?

Could I make hash?

Also, have you ever heard of anyone getting sick from mold on weed? I read some article about it, but it sounded kind of like BS.

Dont do it, its freaking MOLD thats some harmful shit 2 nugs is nothing..... Just give to someone you freakin hate with a passion LOL

I know, im not going to smoke the weed with the mold on it, but I don't want to smoke ANY of it, even the ones that look ok, just because you never know, there may be some inside there.

If I make hash, will it be ok?

Make oil out of it. The alcohol will kill everything.

Depends on your hash method. Oil would be best...but...mold can make the THC impotent as well.

I'd grind it all up and start soaking in the 99% alcohol bottle.

Is making hash safe? Like I said, there is barley any on it, i just found it in one spot. Should I just throw it all out?

i wouldnt throw the whole lot out...make some oil as suggested.
ive used a very crude tecnique ( involving zippo fluid and a hairdryer lol (dont try this at home kids)) before with some very low grade trim with quite good results :) its worth a shot

My god people I have smoked weed with bud rot, it tastes bad and yaâ??ll are right the mold may destroy the THC, but I live. As for the health aspects of it when you smoke it you body goes icky, but I wouldnâ??t get my undies in a bundle about it.

I think the bubble bag web site describes a method of removing mold using water and a mason jar but that alcohol thing sounds like it would work too. All your results will likely kill all the spores but your final product will still likely taste like mold no matter what you do. If it is just a few grams just give it away and tell em it has some mold on it.

More than that and I add my vote to the oil idea. Careful most methods are dangerous on some level.

If you have say 2 or more ounces, its worth using 99% pure alcohol and make oil.

It wont taste like anything other than hash oil.

I'll probably try to make the oil, but I'd rather make a thick dry hash. I know it won't taste like mold because even where this is mold, on like 1 gram of weed, its so thin you can barley see it.

Is there a good way to make dry hash and not oil? Do you have a link to a good recipe?
