What is it with you Americans and always having milk with every single brand of cookie? You dont see us sitting down and mixing milk with our Custard Creams. Which, by the way, are the best damn biscuit in all existence.

A nice (wholemeal) digestive biscuit and a cup of tea never goes amiss. Personally I dont like cheese and biscuits, I prefer having a cig and some cheese.
And scones are even more poncier than Pimms!

Partially hydrogenated oils are among the ingredients in Oreo cookies, and many other foods. This is very unhealthy stuff. Here is a web page about it -notice the Oreo cookies on the top of the page.

British pages:

America pages:

Lawsuit seeks to ban sale of Oreos to children in California
Nabisco taken to task over trans fat's effects
Oreo cookies should be banned from sale to children in California, according to a lawsuit filed by a San Francisco attorney who claims that trans fat -- the stuff that makes the chocolate cookies crisp and their filling creamy -- is so dangerous children shouldn't eat it.

Kraft came up with a lower trans fat Oreo cookie.

I can't eat any of these cookies due to Celiac Disease, which is a gluten intolerance - but I have seen some gluten-free Oreo-type cookies that would be safe, but I don't know about thier trans fat content, if any.

As a vegetarian and lover of all things Oreo, I would like to point out for a fact there are no pig extracts in these chocolate and cream niblets of heaven. Those who told you such drivel should be taken out and beaten with a bag of said doublestuff goodness.

What is it with Americans who think Brits always drink tea haha:)
I can't stand the stuff personally.. maybe I'm too young to appreciate it, perhaps? I prefer coffee. With a rich tea biscuit of course, a winning combination:thumbsup:

I loves the oreos. It's a packaged cookie that can last for years of the shelf, of course it's not that great for you. But any cookie/cake/pie there is (other than some meat pie) is allways at home next to a cold glass of milk

I've never been a big fan or oreos. I don't care much for a crunchy cookie. I like soft, and chewy cookies.

Anything cookie snack by Little Debbie is good to me. The "cookies and cream" cookies kick every other cookies ass out there. :p
